Chapter 6 — Return from Yokohama
After spending two months in the world ofDemon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, the system returned me to my hotel room.
The familiar walls appeared again.
I looked at the clock.
Only two days had passed.
"So the time ratio still works perfectly."
Two months there.
Two days here.
Exactly as the system said.
But my trip wasn't finished yet.
If I returned home now, my mother would definitely find it suspicious.
After all, I had told her the event would last four to five days.
So I simply stayed in Yokohama and attended the publishing event for two days.
It was honestly exhausting.
Editors.
Publishers.
Fans asking questions.
I had written the story of Demon Slayer, but pretending to be a normal author while hiding the real techniques behind it was strange.
Still, the event went well.
On the final day, I walked through the shopping district before returning home.
If I went back empty-handed, someone would definitely complain.
So I bought some souvenirs.
Cookies and sweets from Yokohama.
Mainly for one specific person.
The next evening I finally returned home.
As soon as I opened the door—
"Onii-chan!"
A familiar voice rushed toward me.
It wasKomachi Hikigaya.
"Did you bring souvenirs?!"
I handed her the bag.
"Yokohama cookies."
Her eyes sparkled.
"Komachi points increased!"
My mother appeared from the kitchen.
"Welcome back, Hachiman."
"Yeah."
"How was the event?"
"It went fine."
I kept the answer simple.
Talking too much would only make things suspicious.
She nodded calmly.
"Well, I'm glad everything went well."
After dinner I returned to my room.
I closed the door and sat on my bed.
Four days.
Two spent at the event.
Two spent training in another world.
And no one noticed anything strange.
The system screen appeared in front of me.
Ding. Host has completed first world travel.
I leaned back slightly.
"Looks like things are going to get interesting."
Tomorrow…
I would return toSobu High School.
And continue living as Hachiman Hikigaya.
A normal high school student.
At least…
That's what everyone believed
