Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 - Face of betrayal

The room was suffocatingly silent. Aarav's fists were clenched, his jaw tight, but his eyes kept flicking to Anaya, searching for some sign of what to do next. The black-suited figure, the mastermind behind every attack, every lie, and every secret, finally stepped fully into the flickering light.

And then the mask came off.

Anaya froze. Her breath caught in her throat. The face before her was eerily familiar a mirror of her own, yet sharper, colder, more dangerous. Her heart skipped a beat. The truth slammed into her like a storm: the villain was her twin sister.

"I… I can't believe it," Anaya whispered, voice trembling. "You… you're my sister?"

The twin's smile was icy, precise.

"Yes, Anaya. Your parents thought hiding me, erasing me from their lives, would make me vanish. But you were never the only one in this family. I was always here, always watching, always waiting."

Aarav's voice broke the silence, sharp and angry.

"All this all of it it's been you? All the attacks, the secrets, the manipulations?"

The twin nodded, stepping closer, her gaze locking on Anaya's.

"Every shadow, every moment of chaos… orchestrated. You think you understand trust, family, love… but blood carries its own truths. I am the truth your family buried."

Anaya's knees trembled, her vision blurring as a storm of emotions collided within hershock, betrayal, disbelief, and a strange, deep sorrow.

"But… why? We could have been sisters together. We could have"

"You had everything I was denied,

" the twin interrupted, her voice low, venomous.

"Love, safety, acceptance. I was forgotten. Erased. While you lived a life of warmth and happiness, I was forced into shadows. And now, Anaya it's my turn to take what was mine."

Aarav stepped in front of Anaya, protecting her, his fists tight. "We won't let you destroy everything. You may be her sister, but we won't let you win."

The twin's eyes glimmered with amusement. "Win? Oh, Aarav… the game is already in motion. Every move I made was calculated. Every fear you experienced, every threat… all part of the plan. And now

" She tilted her head, eyes gleaming with dark delight, "you're finally seeing the whole picture."

Anaya took a shaky breath, trying to regain control of her swirling thoughts. How could she trust anyone?

How could family hide something like this? Her hands clenched at her sides. I have to survive… I have to stop her

I have to protect everyone I love.

The twin leaned forward slightly, her smile widening. "Do you want to know the cruelest part?"

Anaya's voice was barely audible. "What… what is it?"

"The person you trusted the most," the twin whispered, almost tauntingly,

"has already made a choice. And soon you will have to decide. Fight your own blood or lose everything you hold dear."

Aarav's eyes darted between the sisters, panic rising. "What do you mean? Who else is involved?"

The twin's gaze flicked toward the shadows of the room.

"Look closer, Anaya. Look carefully. The people you thought were allies may already be on my side. And when the time comes the world you think is safe will shatter."

Anaya's stomach twisted. Her twin, the one she was supposed to love, the one who shared her blood, was not only the mastermind but hinted at having accomplices. Her mind raced: How could family betray like this? How could I survive what is coming next?

Her fists clenched, her jaw set. "I won't… I won't let this destroy me," she whispered to herself,

"I'll find a way I have to."

The twin stepped back, letting the words hang in the room like ice.

"Soon the truth will reveal itself in ways you cannot imagine. And Anaya… by the time you understand, the game will be too far gone to stop."

Aarav reached for her hand. She shook her head slightly, determination flickering in her eyes.

"I have to think I have to act and I have to survive. No matter what it takes."

A cold, final whisper from the twin cut through the tense air

"Remember, sister the closer the blood, the deeper the betrayal."

Anaya's heart raced.

The room felt colder than ever. Aarav and Anaya stood together, their minds still reeling from the revelation that Anaya's twin sister was the mastermind behind all the chaos.

But the nightmare wasn't over.

Aarav's eyes narrowed as he noticed something odd—a familiar movement behind the curtains. He froze. "Wait I know that stance that hand movement"

From the shadows emerged a figure Aarav had trusted his entire life

someone from his own family, someone who had always been by his side in appearances… but whose eyes now gleamed with something darker.

The figure stepped into the dim light, and Aarav felt his chest tighten. Memories surfaced whispers from ten years ago, a time of betrayal and unresolved conflict between his father and this person.

* Now who is this person

* who in Aarav's family is secretly working with Anaya's twin sister
