Synopsis
After the world was destroyed by war and radiation, humanity evolved into new ranks of survival. Sky rulers. Ocean dwellers. Forest hunters. And the lowest of all… farmers. Kai Louvan belonged to the lowest rank. Unfortunately, he couldn’t even grow potatoes. One day, a strange sarcastic Evolution System suddenly chooses him as its host — calling him the worst possible candidate. But Kai is not alone. A strange caterpillar named Kroko follows him everywhere. What Kai doesn’t know… Kroko stole the system from its original creator. Now the creator — the mysterious scientist Dr. Erjuc Jayvex — has sent powerful artificial monsters to hunt Kai down. As ancient creatures awaken across the world, Kai must travel through sky cities, abyss oceans, and forgotten forests, defeating evolving monsters and absorbing their abilities. But the more he evolves… the closer he gets to unlocking the forbidden title: Evolution Sovereign. The only question is- Will Kai save humanity… or evolve into something far beyond it?

Chapter 1 - The Man Who Created Evolution

PROLOGUE

The world didn't end in a single day.

There was no dramatic explosion. No single moment when the sky turned red and humanity disappeared.

Instead, the end came slowly.

First came the wars.

Nations fought over resources, power, and technology. Missiles crossed oceans. Cities vanished overnight in blinding flashes that turned night into artificial suns.

Then came the radiation.

The bombs poisoned the earth. Rivers began to glow faintly in the dark. Crops failed. Animals changed into strange and terrifying forms.

Even the air carried something new.

Something that altered life itself.

Within a few decades, human civilization collapsed.

Nearly ninety-nine percent of the population died.

The survivors hid in broken cities, underground shelters, and small settlements scattered across the ruined world.

But something unexpected happened.

Life adapted.

Some humans began to change.

Their bodies evolved in response to the radiation.

Some developed incredible strength.

Others gained strange abilities connected to nature, water, or even the sky.

Over time, the surviving humans divided into territories.

Forest Territories.

Ocean Territories.

Sky Territories.

Each environment produced different kinds of warriors.

The Forest people became hunters who could move silently among the trees.

The Ocean people adapted to life beneath the waves.

The Sky elites learned to dominate the air itself.

And then there were the Land survivors.

The farmers.

The ordinary people.

The weak.

They were considered the lowest rank of humanity.

But evolution had only just begun.

Far beneath the ruined world…

Inside a hidden laboratory buried under kilometers of reinforced steel and stone…

A man watched everything.

Dr. Erjuc Jayvex.

Silver hair fell messily across his forehead as green light from glowing containment tubes reflected in his yellow cybernetic lenses.

Rows of monstrous creatures floated inside massive glass cylinders around him.

Each one a failed experiment.

Each one part of a much larger plan.

Jayvex slowly lifted a vial filled with glowing green liquid.

He studied it with quiet fascination.

"Remarkable," he murmured.

Inside the vial, microscopic organisms pulsed with strange energy.

The result of decades of research.

The key to controlled evolution.

Behind him, a holographic display flickered to life.

Lines of data filled the air.

Genetic codes.

Mutation charts.

Evolution models.

The doctor smiled faintly.

"Humanity adapted faster than expected," he said quietly.

"But still… far too slowly."

His mechanical fingers tapped across the floating interface.

A new program activated.

On the display appeared a single phrase.

EVOLUTION SYSTEM — PROTOTYPE

Jayvex's eyes gleamed with excitement.

"If nature evolves randomly," he murmured,

"then I will guide it."

The system began running thousands of simulations.

Possible hosts.

Possible outcomes.

Most failed instantly.

Jayvex chuckled.

"Predictable."

He took a slow breath.

Then he pressed a final command.

System Deployment Initiated

A tiny glowing cube of energy appeared above the console.

The Evolution Core.

The heart of the system.

But before Jayvex could activate the final sequence—

Something moved.

A small green creature crawled out from beneath the console.

Jayvex frowned.

"What in the—"

Before he could react, the tiny creature suddenly leaped.

It grabbed the glowing cube.

And swallowed it.

For a moment…

The entire laboratory went silent.

Jayvex stared.

The creature stared back.

Its tiny glowing eyes blinked.

Then it burped.

A soft green light pulsed from its body.

Jayvex slowly removed his glasses.

"…That was not part of the experiment."

The creature tilted its head.

Then it scurried away into the ventilation tunnels.

Taking the Evolution System with it.

Far above the hidden laboratory…

The broken world continued its slow struggle for survival.

Completely unaware that the most powerful system ever created had just been stolen…

By a creature no larger than a caterpillar.

And that it was about to meet…

The worst possible host.
