The air inside the carriage felt heavier with every passing second.
The men were still watching everyone carefully, their eyes moving from passenger to passenger. No one dared to speak.
Everyone was waiting.
For something.
For anything.
But he looked unusually calm.
He reached into his bag and pulled out a banana.
The familiar traveler stared at him.
"…Seriously?"
Without saying a word, he peeled the banana slowly and began eating it.
One bite.
Then another.
As if nothing dangerous was happening around them.
The familiar traveler leaned closer and whispered urgently, "You're eating right now?"
He swallowed calmly.
"Yes."
The traveler blinked in disbelief.
Around them, frightened passengers kept their heads down, trying not to attract attention.
Meanwhile, he finished the banana.
Quietly.
Carefully.
Then, without looking down, he let the peel slip from his hand.
It landed silently on the floor beside the aisle.
The familiar traveler stared at it.
"…Why?"
He wiped his hands calmly.
"Because people focus too much on what they expect."
The traveler frowned. "What does that mean?"
Before he could answer—
One of the men suddenly turned and began walking down the aisle again.
Heavy footsteps.
Closer.
Closer.
Then—
Slip.
The man's foot landed directly on the banana peel.
His balance vanished instantly.
"—What the—?!"
His legs flew out from under him and he crashed loudly onto the floor.
The sudden noise shocked everyone in the carriage.
The other men turned around in confusion.
"What happened?!"
Passengers gasped.
The familiar traveler slowly looked at the fallen man… then back at the boy.
"You did that on purpose."
He simply watched the chaos begin to unfold.
"People expect danger to be complicated," he said quietly.
The fallen man struggled to stand while the others rushed toward him.
Confusion spread through the group.
Mistakes.
Distractions.
Exactly what he needed.
And with a calm expression, he finished his sentence.
"But sometimes…"
"…the most unpredictable move is the simplest one."
