Chapter 5 - The First Trial of the Origin Order

The roar of the ocean creature echoed across the newborn world.

Mountains trembled.

Waves rose like moving walls across the endless sea.

On the distant temple mountain, the followers of the Origin Order felt the vibration pass through the ground beneath their feet.

Several of the newly gathered primitive beings collapsed in fear.

"What… was that?" one whispered.

The first disciple looked toward the ocean far beyond the horizon.

"It has awakened."

High above the planet, Ang watched everything through the floating system windows.

The giant creature had fully risen from the ocean.

Even from orbit its enormous body could be seen moving beneath the dark water like a living continent.

Ang leaned forward.

"So that's the Leviathan-class guardian…"

The system displayed additional information.

Ancient Entity: Leviathan Guardian

Origin: Planetary Defense Mechanism

Purpose: Eliminate destabilizing lifeforms

Ang raised an eyebrow.

"A planetary defense system?"

He stared at the creature carefully.

"That means it might see all civilizations as threats."

Another system message appeared.

Emergency Condition Detected

Origin Order Survival Probability: 63%

Ang sighed.

"That's lower than I'd like."

Meanwhile, on the shoreline, the five disciples stared at the creature towering above the waves.

The Leviathan's enormous head rose higher into the air.

Its glowing eyes focused directly on them.

One disciple swallowed nervously.

"It sees us."

Another stepped forward despite the fear.

"Hold your ground."

The creature inhaled deeply.

The ocean around it began spinning violently.

Then it released another roar.

The sound alone knocked the disciples backward.

Sand and water exploded across the shore.

One disciple struggled to stand.

"We can't fight that thing."

The leader of the group looked toward the sky.

"The Creator told us not to fight yet."

He steadied himself.

"We observe first."

Far above them, Ang nodded slightly.

"Good decision."

He watched as the Leviathan slowly moved toward the coastline.

The creature's massive body created waves that crashed against the shore like storms.

Ang opened another system window.

Planetary Stability: 68%

"That thing is already affecting the planet's balance," he muttered.

On the beach, the disciples quickly moved back as the ocean continued rising.

The Leviathan's enormous body finally emerged from the water.

Its armored scales reflected faint blue light from the young sun.

The creature's body stretched for miles across the sea.

One disciple whispered in awe.

"It's bigger than mountains."

The Leviathan lowered its massive head toward them.

Its glowing eyes studied the small group carefully.

For a moment, everything became quiet.

Then the creature spoke.

Not with words.

But with a deep mental pressure that entered their minds.

Intruders.

The disciples froze.

One of them fell to his knees.

"It's speaking… in our minds."

Another gritted his teeth.

"We are not intruders."

The Leviathan's eyes glowed brighter.

All life disrupts balance.

Elimination required.

The ocean around it began spinning again.

The disciples immediately realized what was coming.

"Move!"

A massive wave shot toward the shore.

The disciples scattered across the sand.

The wave crashed into the land, tearing apart rocks and trees as it moved inland.

One disciple barely avoided being swept away.

"This thing is trying to erase us!"

High above the planet, Ang rubbed his chin.

"So it's not just guarding the ocean."

"It's guarding the planet itself."

The system displayed a new notification.

Critical Task Update

Task 5 — Survive the Leviathan Guardian

Objective: Prevent destruction of the Origin Order

Secondary Objective: Prove civilization is not a threat

Reward: Authority Fragment (Creation) + Authority Fragment (Destruction)

Ang's eyes widened slightly.

"Oh?"

"Both fragments?"

He leaned closer to the window.

"So this task might unlock destruction authority too."

Back on the shore, the disciples regrouped after the attack.

The leader of the group stepped forward again.

"Stop!"

His voice echoed across the shoreline.

The Leviathan stared at him silently.

"We are not enemies of this world," the disciple said firmly.

The creature's massive eye blinked slowly.

All life consumes balance.

"You are wrong," the disciple replied.

"We protect this world."

The Leviathan tilted its head slightly.

Proof required.

The disciples exchanged glances.

"What proof?"

The creature's glowing eyes turned toward the distant temple mountain.

Ang immediately understood.

"Oh…"

"It wants to test the civilization."

The Leviathan's voice echoed again inside their minds.

If life stabilizes planet…

Life permitted.

If life destabilizes planet…

Life erased.

The creature slowly lowered its massive head closer to the shore.

Seven planetary cycles.

Prove balance.

Then the Leviathan sank slowly back into the ocean.

The water closed above it.

Silence returned to the shore.

The disciples stood frozen.

"Did… it just give us a trial?" one asked.

Another nodded slowly.

"Seven cycles."

The leader looked toward the sky.

"The Creator must know about this."

High above the world, Ang leaned back calmly.

"Well…"

"That's convenient."

The system updated again.

New Task Issued

Task 6 — Prove Civilization Stability

Time Limit: 7 Days

Requirements:

• Increase population to 300

• Stabilize three planetary regions

• Prevent ecological collapse

Reward: Major Authority Fragment (Creation)

Ang smiled slightly.

"So this entire world just became a test."

He looked down at the growing temple civilization.

"This is going to accelerate development a lot."

Back on the temple mountain, the disciples soon returned.

They gathered before the temple and explained everything that had happened.

The followers listened in shock.

"A monster is judging our civilization?"

The leader nodded.

"Seven days."

"If we fail, it destroys everything."

The crowd became silent.

Then one of the primitive beings stepped forward.

"We will help."

Another followed.

"And us."

Soon dozens of followers gathered together.

The leader raised his hand.

"Then the Origin Order begins its true mission."

"Build this world."

"Protect it."

"Stabilize it."

High above the planet, Ang watched the gathering with interest.

"Looks like motivation isn't a problem anymore."

He opened a new system window.

Population Growth Rate: Increasing

Civilization Development Speed: +240%

Ang smiled.

"Well then…"

"Let's see how far this universe can grow in seven days."

Far beneath the ocean, the Leviathan watched the surface world through the dark water.

Its glowing eyes remained fixed on the rising civilization.

The trial had begun.

And the fate of the young universe would soon be decided.
