Chapter 4 - The Awakening Below the Ocean

The waves of the vast ocean rolled slowly under the dim light of the young sun. The newborn world was still unstable, its atmosphere thin and its continents rough and unfinished. Storm clouds drifted lazily across the sky while rivers carved their first paths through the land.

From above the planet, Ang observed everything through the floating system windows that surrounded him.

Civilization Center Progress: 41%

Followers: 37 / 100

Ang crossed his arms as he watched the young civilizations slowly gathering around the Temple of Origin.

"They're learning faster than I expected," he murmured.

Yet his eyes soon shifted toward the largest ocean of the planet.

The system window focused on the deep waters.

Far below the surface, something enormous moved.

The water currents twisted around a gigantic dark shape resting on the ocean floor like a mountain that had been sleeping for ages.

Ang narrowed his eyes.

"So this is the anomaly."

The interface began analyzing the creature.

Energy Signature: Ancient Entity

Status: Awakening

Threat Level: Unknown

Ang leaned closer to the projection window.

"This universe is only days old," he muttered. "Why would something ancient already exist here?"

The system remained silent.

Meanwhile, on the temple mountain, the Origin Order continued growing.

Primitive creatures gathered around the shining stone structure that Ang had created. Some were the stone-skinned forest beings while others had arrived from the plains and river valleys.

One disciple looked proudly at the growing crowd.

"More followers keep arriving."

Another nodded. "The Creator's influence is spreading."

The first disciple raised his hand and pointed toward the sky.

"Do not forget who guides us."

All the followers turned toward the heavens and bowed.

High above them, Ang quietly watched.

"They're already building belief structures," he said softly. "Interesting."

But his attention quickly returned to the ocean.

The system suddenly displayed another message.

New Task Generated.

Task 4 — Investigate the Ocean Anomaly

Objective: Identify the ancient entity beneath the ocean

Secondary Objective: Prevent planetary destruction

Reward: Authority Fragment (Creation) + Universe Stability Increase

Ang sighed slightly.

"So now I have to deal with monsters too."

He moved one of the floating windows closer and observed the creature again.

The giant shadow slowly shifted beneath the sea.

Even from space, Ang could see the enormous pressure waves spreading through the water.

"If that thing reaches the surface…"

He glanced down toward the temple mountain.

"…this entire civilization will be erased."

A faint glow formed around Ang's body.

"Time to step in again."

Moments later a projection of Ang's energy descended toward the planet.

The sky above the Temple of Origin shimmered as the glowing figure appeared.

The disciples immediately noticed.

"The Creator!"

Everyone knelt instantly.

Ang's projection hovered above the temple steps.

"Rise."

The followers stood.

The first disciple stepped forward.

"Creator, more beings have joined the Origin Order."

Ang nodded calmly.

"You have done well."

Another disciple spoke nervously.

"Creator… we sense something strange in the ocean."

Ang looked toward the distant horizon.

"You are correct."

The followers exchanged worried looks.

"There is a creature beneath the sea," Ang continued.

One of the disciples frowned.

"A creature?"

"An ancient one," Ang replied.

"If it fully awakens, it may destroy this world."

Silence spread among the followers.

Finally one disciple stepped forward and bowed.

"Then we must face it."

Ang looked at him carefully.

"You will not fight it yet."

The disciples looked surprised.

"You will investigate it first."

Several of them exchanged glances.

"You want us to approach the creature?" one asked.

"Yes," Ang answered calmly.

"You are the Origin Order. Protecting this world is your responsibility."

The first disciple nodded firmly.

"We will go."

Ang raised his hand.

Five glowing symbols appeared in the air.

"These fragments of Creation energy will protect you."

The symbols slowly entered the bodies of five disciples.

They immediately felt warmth spreading through them.

"I feel stronger," one whispered.

Ang's projection began fading.

"Return with information before attempting anything reckless."

The five disciples bowed deeply.

"We will not fail."

Soon the group departed from the temple mountain.

They traveled across forests and rocky plains while the wind howled through the unstable lands.

Hours later they reached the coastline.

The endless ocean stretched far beyond the horizon.

One disciple stared at the water.

"I can feel it."

Another nodded slowly.

"It's deep below."

The group stepped carefully onto the wet sand.

Suddenly the ocean surface trembled.

A massive wave rose high into the sky.

The disciples stepped back in shock.

"What was that?!"

Far below the surface, the gigantic creature slowly moved.

Its body was longer than entire mountain ranges.

Huge armored scales covered its back like living continents.

Two enormous glowing eyes opened within the darkness.

The ocean currents twisted violently around the creature as it lifted its head.

On the shore, the disciples felt the ground shaking.

"It knows we are here," one whispered.

High above the planet, Ang watched everything through the system.

His expression grew serious.

"That thing is much bigger than I expected."

The system continued analyzing the creature.

Ancient Entity Identified: Leviathan-Class Ocean Guardian

Status: Fully Awakening

Ang frowned.

"Guardian?"

Another message appeared.

Warning: Entity may view all lifeforms as intruders.

Ang rubbed his forehead.

"Of course it does."

Back on the shoreline, the disciples were preparing themselves.

One of them raised his hands and released a small wave of Creation energy.

The light spread across the water surface.

"We must observe it carefully," he said.

Suddenly the ocean exploded upward.

A gigantic armored head burst out of the water.

The creature's glowing eyes locked onto the small figures standing on the shore.

The disciples froze.

The creature opened its mouth.

A deep roar shook the entire ocean.

On the temple mountain far away, the new followers collapsed in fear as the sound echoed across the continent.

High above the planet, Ang watched the scene unfold.

"Well…"

"It's definitely awake now."

He leaned back slowly while observing the giant creature rising from the ocean.

"Let's see what happens next."
