They left before sunrise.
The city was still dark when Elena arrived at the company garage.
The air felt cool.
A thin layer of fog hung above the pavement.
Large freight trucks sat quietly in their bays while workers prepared for the morning shift.
Alexander was already there.
He stood beside one of the company vehicles holding a travel folder.
Julian leaned against another vehicle drinking coffee.
Mateo sat on the hood of a truck, staring down at the construction records from the coastal terminal.
Nobody looked fully awake.
But nobody complained.
The discovery from the previous day had changed everything.
The terminal existed.
It had been completed.
And somebody had hidden it.
Elena stopped beside them.
"Everyone ready?"
Julian nodded.
"As ready as we're going to be."
Mateo closed the file.
"I still don't like it."
Alexander looked at him.
"What part?"
"The part where an entire terminal disappears from history."
Nobody argued with that.
