The Void Titan absorbed the storm.
Purple lightning flowed into its massive body like rivers of energy.
Its cracked stone armor began glowing brighter.
The creature was getting stronger.
Kael stared at it in disbelief.
"You have got to be kidding me."
One of the Void Hunters landed beside him.
"You cannot overwhelm a Void Titan with its own power," the hunter said calmly.
"They evolve during battle."
Kael looked at the glowing mark on his hand.
"Well… that's a problem."
The Titan roared and swung its massive arm again.
The attack destroyed half the battlefield.
Kael barely escaped through a portal.
He reappeared on a floating rock above the battlefield.
Nyra's voice echoed through the communication crystal.
"Kael, listen carefully."
"Void Titans have one weakness."
Kael raised an eyebrow.
"Please tell me it's something easy."
"Their core," Nyra replied.
"At the center of their body is a Void Core. Destroy it, and the Titan falls."
Kael looked down at the enormous creature.
The glowing cracks across its chest pulsed with purple light.
"That thing?"
"Yes," Nyra said.
"But reaching it will be almost impossible."
Kael smiled slightly.
"Almost impossible is still possible."
He raised his glowing hand again.
Dozens of portals opened across the battlefield.
Some beneath the Titan.
Some above it.
Some surrounding it completely.
The Void Hunters looked up in surprise.
The Titan roared as the portals began moving rapidly around it.
Kael focused.
"Let's see how you handle this."
One final portal opened directly in front of the Titan's chest.
A glowing blue energy blade formed inside the gate.
And shot straight toward the creature's core.
