Chapter 1 - Chaos At First Sight

The summer was extreme. The heat pressed down so hard that everyone walked slowly here and there on the road, wiping sweat from their faces.

"I'm very close!" one boy shouted before jumping straight from the boat onto the road.

The boatman looked back at him with a sharp, angry glare. "What about my money?" he asked aggressively.

The boy just smiled, already running toward the city. "I'll give it to you later… My name is Kael Draven. I'm a D-rank mage, member of the Blaze Guild, nineteen years old," he called over his shoulder.

He reached the busy market area. People were everywhere. "This place is really crowded," Kael said to himself.

Suddenly a thief dashed past, grabbed his bag, and sprinted away.

"Hey! Thief! Stop! Give my bag back!" Kael shouted and immediately started chasing him.

At the same time, in a small shop nearby, the door opened.

A beautiful girl stepped inside. Her long black hair shone under the light.

"Hello? My name is Lyra. Is anyone here?" she asked in a soft voice.

An old man came out from the back. "A customer! Come here, beautiful. Tell me what you want to buy," he said with a greedy smile.

Lyra walked up to the counter and looked down at him. "I want to buy a magical ring," she said sweetly.

The old man nodded, pulled out a big red box, set it on the counter, and opened it. Inside were many colorful rings. "Which one do you like? All of these can store magical artifacts and other things," he explained calmly.

Lyra leaned forward over the desk, her huge breasts pressing down on the wood as she looked at the rings carefully. "How much for this blue one?" she asked softly.

The old man smiled. "Five thousand silver coins," he replied directly.

Lyra gave a sweet smile. "Just give me a minute," she said and walked to the corner of the shop.

Her face changed—she looked annoyed. "That's way too expensive. What should I do now? This old man seems hard to convince, but I have to try," she muttered to herself. She quickly opened the top buttons of her shirt, then walked back and sat right on the edge of the counter.

The old man looked up at her, eyes fixed on her milky thighs and huge breasts. "What are you doing, beautiful?" he asked.

Lyra looked down at him, put a finger to her lips, and winked. "What about some discount?" she asked in a seductive voice.

The old man grinned greedily. "How about four thousand coins?" he said happily.

Lyra's smile slipped for a second before she recovered. "How about three thousand silver coins?" she said, still using that soft, tempting tone, moving closer to him.

The old man crossed his arms. "Three thousand seven hundred silver coins," he answered firmly.

Lyra's expression dropped again. "This old man is so irritating," she whispered to herself.

Suddenly the thief burst into the shop and jumped onto the counter.

"Who are you?!" the old man shouted.

Lyra stepped back quickly. "Where did this guy come from?" she asked in panic.

Right then Kael rushed inside. Blue flames glowed around his body. "Give me my bag back," he said in a serious voice, making the flames grow much stronger.

The old man stared at him. "You're going to blast my whole shop!" he yelled angrily.

Kael stretched out his hand, created a huge fireball, and threw it at the thief.

"Are you an idiot?!" Lyra shouted before ducking under the counter.

The entire shop exploded. Everything was destroyed in the blast.

"Give me my bag back," Kael said calmly. He walked over and took the bag from the thief, who was now unconscious on the floor.

The old man stood up, looking around at the ruins. "What did you do to my shop?!" he shouted in fury.

Kael noticed the burning artifacts in the corner—they looked ready to explode any second. "This shop is going to blast again," he said plainly.

The old man panicked. "No! That's the hard work of my entire life!" he cried, looking terrified.

Lyra came out from under the counter and looked around. "Is everything okay now?" she asked softly.

Before anyone could answer, the artifacts finished burning and triggered another massive explosion.

The whole shop blew apart. The three of them were thrown high into the sky.

"Where are we going?" Kael asked, looking down at the tiny ground and people far below.

Lyra stared at the shrinking city. "Why do these things always happen to me?" she said angrily.

They fell for what felt like forever before crashing onto soft grass miles outside the city.

"Ouch, my back," Kael groaned as he stood up.

Lyra sat up and glared at him. "That's all because of you," she said furiously.

Kael looked down at her. "Who are you?" he asked calmly.

Lyra jumped up, grabbed his collar. "Who am I? I'm the one who just fell in the grass miles from the city—all because of you, mister!" she snapped.

Kael looked at her for a second, then reached into his pocket and pulled out a ring. "Maybe this will make you happy," he said, handing her the magical ring.

Lyra took it, looked at it closely, and suddenly smiled brightly. "This is perfect! A magical artifact for casting spells and storing things," she said with real excitement.

Kael nodded, walked to a nearby bench, and sat down. "I have to go back to Elzera," he said quietly to himself and let out a heavy sigh.

Lyra stepped in front of him and looked at the card hanging around his neck. "Wait… are you an adventurer?" she asked.

Kael showed her the ID card. "Yes, I'm an adventurer and a member of the Blaze Guild," he said confidently.

Lyra clapped her hands energetically, her huge breasts shaking with the movement. "Guild member! An adventurer! My dream is to become an adventurer and join a powerful guild," she said happily, eyes sparkling with interest.

Kael smiled a little and stood up. "Why don't you join my guild? There are lots of people, you can become an official adventurer, and earn a lot of money," he said.

Lyra smiled to herself. "Money… and handsome boys all around me," she whispered.

Kael looked at her strangely. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked, confused.

She looked back at him with a big smile. "I'm ready. Let's go," she said full of energy.

A little while later they reached the railway station.

"My dream is going to come true," Lyra said happily to herself.

Kael noticed the book in her hand. "What is this?" he asked.

Lyra showed him the pages—pictures of many sexy, muscular men wearing only boxers and striking cool poses. "This is Jhon, this one is Crek, and all the others are handsome and powerful adventurers," she said, hugging the book tightly to her chest.

Kael rolled his eyes. "You girls are very complicated," he muttered to himself.

Suddenly the train arrived and stopped at the platform.

"Let's go inside," Lyra said energetically and stepped aboard.

Kael followed her more calmly. "I hope everything goes well this time," he said quietly to himself.
