Chapter 1 - Ch-1 Reincarnation

Jack Wilson was thirty-two years old and lived in the busy city of Los Angeles. The city was always full of noise-cars moving on the roads, people rushing to work, and bright lights shining even at night. Jack worked at a large company in the center of the city. He had a normal life, but one thing made his life truly special.

Her name was Jamie.

Jack first met Jamie when they were both students in college. It was their first year. One morning, Jack entered a large lecture hall for a business class. The room was full of students talking loudly. While looking for a seat, he accidentally dropped his notebook.

A girl sitting nearby picked it up and handed it to him.

"Here," she said with a small smile.

"Thank you," Jack replied.

That was the first time he saw her clearly. She had warm brown eyes and a calm, friendly expression. Her name, he soon learned, was Jamie Carter.

At first, they were just classmates. They sometimes talked after class or studied together in the library. Slowly, they became close friends. They helped each other with assignments, shared snacks during long study nights, and laughed about the stress of exams.

One day, after finishing a difficult test, Jamie suggested something.

"Let's go to the beach," she said.

The beach was not far from the college. That evening they sat on the sand, watching the sun slowly disappear into the ocean. The sky turned orange and pink.

Jack remembered that moment clearly. Jamie was laughing about something silly, and the wind moved her hair across her face. For the first time, Jack realized that he liked her more than just a friend.

From that day on, they spent more time together.

They went on many small trips to the beach. Sometimes they walked along the shore at night, listening to the waves. Sometimes they bought ice cream and talked for hours about their dreams for the future.

They also attended college parties with their friends. Loud music filled the rooms, and everyone danced or talked happily. Jack was not the best dancer, but Jamie often pulled him onto the dance floor anyway. They laughed every time he made awkward moves.

During their final year in college, Jack finally gathered the courage to say something he had been feeling for a long time.

"I think I like you... more than a friend," he said nervously.

Jamie smiled.

"I was waiting for you to say that."

From that day, they officially started dating.

After graduating from college, something surprising happened. By coincidence, they both got jobs in the same company in Los Angeles. It felt like fate had brought them together again.

Their office was in a tall glass building in the middle of the city. Every morning they entered the building together with coffee in their hands. They worked hard during the day, but during lunch breaks they often sat together and talked about their future.

Years passed.

Their relationship became stronger with time. They supported each other during stressful projects at work and celebrated each other's successes.

Finally, when they were both thirty-two years old, Jack made an important decision.

One evening, he took Jamie to their favorite beach. The sun was setting, just like the day they had gone there during college. The waves gently touched the sand.

Jack knelt down on one knee and showed her a ring.

"Jamie, will you marry me?"

Jamie covered her mouth in surprise. Tears appeared in her eyes, but she was smiling.

"Yes," she said softly.

Their wedding date was set for December 22.

Everything seemed perfect.

But fate had other plans.

One day before the wedding, Jack had an important meeting at the office. Even though he wanted to spend the whole day with Jamie preparing for the wedding, he could not ignore the meeting.

"I'll finish it quickly and come back," he promised her.

Jamie smiled and nodded. "Don't be late."

Jack drove to the office early that morning.

But something was wrong.

When he arrived near the building, he saw chaos. People were running in every direction. Some were screaming. Others were hiding behind cars.

At the entrance gate, several armed terrorists were standing with weapons.

Jack froze.

Before he could react, a loud gunshot echoed in the air.

A sharp pain suddenly exploded in the right side of his chest.

Jack fell to the ground.

His vision started becoming blurry. The sounds around him faded slowly. While lying there, one thought filled his mind.

I couldn't even marry her...

His heart stopped.

Everything went dark.

...

But suddenly-

Jack opened his eyes again.

He was lying inside a small wooden house. Sunlight entered through a window. The room smelled like fresh wood and herbs.

Two people were standing nearby, looking at him with warm smiles.

A young man with blonde hair and bright blue eyes spoke first.

"He's awake."

Next to him stood a woman with the same blonde hair and blue eyes. Her expression was gentle and caring.

Jack was confused.

Where am I?

His body felt strange. Small. Weak.

He looked at his hands.

They were tiny.

Slowly, a shocking truth appeared in his mind.

He had been reborn.

The world around him was very different. Instead of tall buildings and busy roads, there were wooden houses, dirt paths, green fields, and forests.

He had been reincarnated in a medieval world.

The village where he lived was called Ragna. It was a peaceful place inside a country known as Ferenxia.

The man with blonde hair was his father.

His name was Redstar.

He was a Fire Knight, a warrior who could control powerful fire magic.

The woman was his mother, Elinastar.

She was a healing magician who could cure injuries using magical energy.

Their family name was Star.

And the baby they were holding...

Was named Sunstar.

Two years passed.

Even though Sunstar was only a child, the memories of his past life remained inside his mind.

One afternoon, while standing on a small chair near the window, he watched something amazing.

In the garden outside, his father was practicing his fire magic. Flames appeared in his hands, swirling like living creatures before shooting into the air.

Sunstar watched with wide eyes.

Magic... it really exists here.

While leaning forward to see better, the chair suddenly slipped.

He fell.

"Ah!"

He hit the floor.

A moment later, his mother rushed into the room.

"Sunstar!"

She quickly lifted him and placed her hand on his head. A soft green light appeared around her hands.

Warm energy spread through his body.

The pain disappeared instantly.

Sunstar stared at the glowing magic in shock.

That moment changed everything.

Fire magic... healing magic...

If magic exists in this world...

A small smile appeared on the face of the two-year-old child.

Then I will learn it.

And so, the second life of Sunstar had truly begun.
