The Man from the Shadows
The entire Black Tower shook.
⚠️ UNKNOWN ACCESS DETECTED
Red emergency lights flashed across every floor.
For the first time, the Founder's calm expression disappeared.
He turned toward the dark corridor.
"Impossible…"
The mysterious figure slowly stepped forward.
His face remained hidden beneath a long black coat.
Ryan, trapped in another chamber, watched through the security screens.
"Who is that?"
Victor narrowed his eyes.
"He's not one of Phoenix."
Lena quickly searched the security system.
"There's no record of him."
"No identity."
"No biometric data."
"It's as if… he doesn't exist."
The Founder spoke in a cold voice.
"You shouldn't have come here."
The stranger stopped walking.
"I made a promise."
His voice was calm but filled with sorrow.
"A promise to someone who died protecting the truth."
Ariba felt her heart race.
"That voice…"
"It sounds familiar."
The stranger slowly removed his hood.
A scar crossed one side of his face.
His silver hair reflected the emergency lights.
He looked directly at Ariba.
"You've grown up…"
Ariba's eyes widened.
"You… know me?"
The man nodded.
"I knew your father."
Silence filled the room.
Ryan looked at Ariba.
"He knew Dr. Rahman?"
The man continued.
"We worked together before Phoenix destroyed everything."
The Founder laughed quietly.
"So… the Ghost has finally returned."
Victor frowned.
"Ghost?"
The stranger's eyes never left the Founder.
"My real name no longer matters."
"For years…"
"You believed everyone who opposed Phoenix was dead."
He took another step forward.
"You were wrong."
The Founder slowly smiled again.
"So you came to save her?"
The Ghost shook his head.
"No."
"I came…"
"…to finish what her father started."
Suddenly—
The tower's power failed.
Darkness swallowed the room.
A single emergency spotlight illuminated Ariba.
The Ghost threw her a small silver device.
"Take it!"
She caught it instinctively.
"What is this?"
"It contains the last key."
"The key your father died to protect."
Before Ariba could ask another question—
The Founder raised his hand.
Elite guards rushed into the chamber from every direction.
"Capture them!"
Victor fired the first shot.
Ryan broke free from his chamber and ran toward Ariba.
Lena hacked the security doors, trying to create an escape route.
The Ghost stood alone in front of the Founder.
"You'll have to go through me."
The Founder smiled.
"That was always the plan."
The two men charged toward each other—
And the battle for Black Tower finally began.
