đŹ EDITION 13 â "THE FIRST AUTHOR"
Season 1
Opening Scene
Silence.
Not the silence of peace.
The silence of something ancient.
The Dreamer, the Writer, Nemesis, the Forgotten Version, Barbaric Author, Futuristic Author, Redeemed Author, and the other Versions stand inside the Ancient Library.
Millions of books stretch endlessly into the darkness.
Some books glow with golden light.
Others are chained shut.
At the center of the library sits a single wooden desk.
Behind it...
The First Author.
The First Author
"So..."
"The next Dreamer has finally arrived."
The Dreamer steps forward.
Dreamer
"Are you truly the First Author?"
The old man smiles.
First Author
"I have been called many things."
"The First."
"The Beginning."
"The One Who Wrote."
"But yes..."
"I am the first Author."
The Dreamer studies him.
He doesn't look powerful.
He doesn't wear armor.
He doesn't glow.
He simply looks... old.
Very old.
The Library
The First Author slowly stands.
He walks between the endless bookshelves.
As he passes each shelf, the books begin opening by themselves.
Entire worlds appear above them.
Cities.
Mountains.
Stars.
People.
Creatures.
First Author
"Every book here..."
"...is a universe."
The Dreamer's eyes widen.
Dreamer
"You created all of these?"
The First Author chuckles.
First Author
"No."
"I created only one."
"The others belong to countless Authors who came after me."
The Dreamer looks around.
There are millions of books.
Millions of worlds.
Dreamer
"So... I'm not the only Author?"
First Author
"You never were."
The Truth
The Writer quietly approaches.
Writer
"Then why bring us here?"
The First Author stops walking.
First Author
"Because your story is changing."
He points toward a single empty bookshelf.
First Author
"One day..."
"Your universe will stand here."
Everyone becomes silent.
Nemesis
"And if it doesn't?"
The First Author looks directly at him.
First Author
"Then your universe disappears forever."
The room falls completely silent.
The Purpose of Versions
The First Author walks toward Barbaric Author.
First Author
"You."
"You represent strength."
He turns toward Futuristic Author.
First Author
"You represent knowledge."
He looks at Redeemed Author.
First Author
"You represent hope."
Finally...
He faces Nemesis.
First Author
"And you..."
For several seconds...
He says nothing.
First Author
"You represent survival."
Everyone looks at Nemesis.
Even Nemesis looks surprised.
Nemesis
"Survival?"
First Author
"When the Author was breaking..."
"You refused to let him disappear."
Nemesis lowers his head.
First Author
"You chose the wrong methods."
"But your purpose..."
"...was never evil."
The Writer slowly closes his eyes.
Writer
"I judged him too quickly."
Nemesis doesn't answer.
The Forgotten Version
The Forgotten Version steps forward.
Forgotten Version
"What about me?"
The First Author smiles gently.
First Author
"You protected memories."
"So the Author would never lose himself completely."
The Forgotten Version nods.
For the first time...
He looks at peace.
The Question
The Dreamer walks toward the First Author.
Dreamer
"Then what am I?"
The First Author turns around.
First Author
"You..."
"...are possibility."
The room becomes silent.
Dreamer
"I don't understand."
First Author
"You haven't decided who you'll become."
"You could become the greatest Creator."
"Or..."
He pauses.
First Author
"The last."
Everyone freezes.
An Ancient Secret
The First Author walks to the oldest bookshelf.
Unlike the others...
It contains only one book.
Covered in dust.
Locked by seven chains.
Dreamer
"What's inside?"
The First Author's expression changes.
First Author
"The first mistake."
Nobody speaks.
First Author
"I wrote a perfect world."
"A world without pain."
"A world without conflict."
"A world without sadness."
He looks down.
First Author
"It lasted..."
"...three days."
The Dreamer looks confused.
Dreamer
"What happened?"
The First Author sighs.
First Author
"They stopped growing."
"They stopped learning."
"They stopped dreaming."
He gently places his hand on the chained book.
First Author
"I learned something."
He looks toward every Version.
First Author
"A perfect story..."
"...is a dead story."
The Dreamer remains silent.
Those words echo in his mind.
The Farewell
The First Author walks back to his desk.
He picks up an old fountain pen.
Its tip shines like a star.
He offers it to the Dreamer.
Dreamer
"I can't accept this."
The First Author smiles.
First Author
"I know."
He places it back on the desk.
First Author
"You'll earn it."
Final Scene
The Ancient Library begins fading.
The Dreamer and the Versions slowly disappear.
Before everything vanishes...
The First Author calls out.
First Author
"Dreamer."
The Dreamer turns around.
First Author
"When the war begins..."
Everyone stops.
Even Nemesis.
First Author
"Do not fight to destroy."
The Library grows darker.
First Author
"Fight..."
"...to understand."
Everything fades into white.
