Alright this is a new book I have made and it's going to be the one I have in for the long haul and there is no problem with writing more because all I have to do is rewatch some of the anime to write new chapters
Ok so a few things before we begin this is not going to look pretty because I'm the type of person to dump words on a google doc and call it a chapter so this is your warning if you don't wanna read it's cool if you do well these chapters are around 5 to 8k words after this and only chapter 7 is around 3k because it's a extra chapter the rest are big chapters as I'm writing this the book is around 30k words long and we just finished the Mr Kay arc so if that doesn't tell you this is going to be a long and beautiful journey then I don't know what will anyways leave a review and drop some power stones if you want as for a update schedule I write this for fun and for a school assignment so you get a chapter when I have my work done

Have you ever woken up somewhere where your not supposed to be before whether that be you sleeping with someones wife and the husband gets home or getting drunk and waking up in a alley or just straight up being kidnapped
While the first one isnt true and the second is a somewhat true minus the alcohol and the third feels true enough but not in the normal sense
Well let me introduce myself my name is gabe no last name im a programmer that gets by doing what programmers do making AI sometimes hacking into accounts to steal a dollar from a bunch of rich people like once a year because i dont spend money that much unless it is food or cards because yeah believe it or not i like playing childrens card games cough cough yugioh cough cough but yeah i like playing yugioh its something i have played since i could talk and is a game i have enjoyed until the game became to competitive and i stopped playing at tournaments and just stuck with the old games like tag force 1 through 3 because yeah i like yugioh gx more than the rest and zexal is a close second anyways the point is this has a bit to do with my situation
You see it appears i have been thrown into the yugioh universe by some higher being because i have a duel disk strapped to my arm or at the very least a really nice tablet with a deck in it but yeah im pretty sure im somewhere in arc v and i never really watched it all or if i did i completely forgot besides the 4 main characters and a few side characters i forgot most of this including the plot and most importantly i have knowledge of duel monsters
I decide to finally step out of the alley and look around
Ok first thing to note im pretty sure im not in the pendulum dimension and im in the xyz dimension how am i sure of this i see heartland tower in the distance which is nice to know
Again i might not be in yugioh arc v i could just be in zexal but im just going to assume im in arc v
I decide to turn on my duel disk and navigate the device on my arm to get familiar
So this thing has quite a few things first is obviously the dueling app which lets you set up duels which is nice then there is the internet because why not let a duel disk have access to the internet why not then there is a messaging app a phone app a notes app and a few other things like settings and stuff like that oh and the most important app is a god damn dimension traveler app with a few destinations like standard xyz fusion and synchro ritual/link and spirit world because why not add those last 2 and when i click on them they show a timeline i want to enter at because time travel is just fun like that but yeah im staying where i am
So i have been walking around for a bit not sure what to do its been a few hours sense i got here and there are a few things to note
First money here is duel points and i have zero which is not good and after a quick google search the few ways to get duel points is to win duels or get a job point is for duels you need to bet something like your points and if you cant your cards and knowing i only have my deck that i havent even looked at yet because i feel like i should wait until there is a duel to really look at my deck while playing dont ask me why its just a feeling point is i dont know what to do because i know i cant get a job because i bet they would have to look me up and i probably dont exist so that leaves me a few options
First i could go look for cards because believe it or not people drop cards here and i have found a few but they are just vanilla monsters and a few equip spells there were even some high level monsters with high attacks that might be worth money or dp so now i have to find a card shop but before i go in my inner garbage collector instincts activated
You see cards here are worth something they are kinda like phones and believe it or not people do throw cards away even though that is very stupid it happens alot look at that well in yugioh gx point is there might be cards in the trash at the card shop so i circled around looking for cameras and after finding none a find the trash box because i dont know what those huge trash containers are called outside businesses like restaurants and what not point is i was right a bit to right because this thing is full of cards and most of them are low level monsters and a bunch of spells and traps i started digging through them and after a few hours i sorted through a good chunk of the trash but its more like treasure first off a found an entire frogs deck in here like most of it was spread out so i assume these were just cards sitting around but i literally have a decent meta deck but aside from that this was the only meta deck i could put together from the cards here the rest of these could be a deck and there are some core pieces to other decks and even some old cards here like cyber dragons which is insane by the way these are like rare cards back in the gx era mind you i could not find any of the fusions but if i go to the fusion dimension i could probably trade with zane for the extra cyber end dragon he has and see if he has an extra twin or if he is still unwilling to use chimartech overdragon then i can take that off his hands but good news i did find the first xyz cyber dragon nova but i could not find infinity so i cant really call this meta and without the fusion cards this cant really be called a cyber dragon deck other than these 2 the rest was a bunch of high level monsters that were mostly vanilla cards with a few effect monsters there but nothing notable but after gathering all these cards im not sure how im going to carry them all and its getting late i decide to dig a bit deeper into the trash to see if there are any deck boxes and once i got to the bottom of the trash there were a bunch of deck boxes and surprisingly there was a deck box vest it looked a bit beat up and has a few stains but nothing a good wash wont fix so i take it out and put the 2 decks i have made into the first 2 deck boxes and the bulk cards to sell into the last 4
I finally leave the trash area and see the sun is about to set and i have literally no where to go which is not good so i go up to someone and ask where the nearest hotel is
Stranger oh a hotel umm if you go that way for a while you will see a hotel called the duelist hub they are one of the most affordable ones in the area and kid dont you have any parents to go home to its getting really late
Gabe thanks for the directions and well i dont have any parents and i just arrived in heartland city today and i have no where to go much less parents
Stranger oh my gosh you poor thing i cant just leave you here by yourself how about this you come with me and you can stay at my house my little brother yuma needs friends his own age outside of school so how about it wanna stay at my house for your stay here
Gabe i stare at her incredulously your inviting a stranger to live in your home are you sure thats ok
Stranger oh yeah you have a good point my name is kari tsukumo a reporter its nice to meet you whats your name
Gabe hi kari its nice to meet you my name is gabe no last name
Kari cool we arent strangers anymore lets go it getting cold
Kari grabs my hand and drags me across the city to her house
Gabe internally this place seems familiar and her name is sort of familiar to and yuma wait a second am i actually in yugioh zexal
Kari opens the door and yuma is sitting at the table with his face down and as soon as the door opens he sits up super fast and runs and tackles kari and crys out
Yuma kari im so hungry please make food you have been gone for so long that im dying here.
He looks over to me and says
Yuma and who is this dude sniff sniff and why do you smell like old cards
Kari yuma that is rude and this is gabe he just arrived in hearland city and is an orphan like us
Yuma oh i see sorry for your loss
Gabe its ok i have never known my parents in actuallity i dont have many memories before waking up here
Kari and yuma wait what you dont have any memories
Gabe yeah sorry i wasnt sure how to mention it i sort of just woke up in an alley and was walking around but its not total memory loss it just some important stuff is missing like where im from who my parents are and stuff like that i still know how to duel but umm i dont have any money for rent but i know cards are worth money here so i went dumpster diving for cards and its shocking what cards people throw away i found 2 really good decks in the trash and this deck box vest which is awesome but it needs to be cleaned
Kari tearing up you poor thing you dont have any memories of where your from or even who your parents are
Gabe its ok its not all bad i met you guys who are amazing people
Kari thanks gabe
Yuma slightly teary man your story is so sad loud grumbling sounds note to self sounds like a dying animal
Kari oh you guys must be hungry
My stomach growls
Yuma hey so is gabes let eat
Kari alright i will go cook up some rice with meat
Yuma yay
Gabe that sounds good to me
While kari was in the kitchen cooking you know washing the rice like the sexy mulan man intended and cooking the meat on the stove yuma and gabe were getting to know each other
Yuma so what are the decks you found
Gabe i found a frog deck and a bit of a cyber dragon deck
Yuma huh arent frogs like super weak monsters
Gabe you would think but they are quite strong and numerous
Yuma a bet i could beat your frog deck with my deck
Gabe huh i doubt it but you can try after we eat
Yuma why not before we eat
Gabe well im to hungry to duel and besides what deck do you play
Yuma well umm it doesnt really have a theme other than the names being repeated a bunch
Gabe oh so then what is your win record
Yuma umm i havent won a game before
Gabe yikes bud you either need a deck upgrade or need a refresher on the rules
Kari returning with food a little bit of both actually yuma love the game but doesnt really know how to play well
Yuma hey not cool also FOOD
Yuma grabs the food and started to dig in when kari knocks him upside the head
Kari wait till we all start before digging in yuma
Gabe its ok lets just eat and try not to give yuma brain damage there is already enough of that here with me
Kari pfft ok nice dark humor
Gabe thanks i try
Yuma are we gonna eat

Small time skip to yumas room or attic
Gabe ok from the looks of things you dont have any boss monsters hell you dont even have any high level monsters no wonder you havent won a game lets try to fix that lets see i pull the cards out of my bulk box as i like to call it with the high level monsters here you can have this card its called cybernetic magician it lets you discard cards to turn one of your monsters attack points to 2000 and it is not once per turn so if you discard a bunch of cards and you have a bunch of monsters on the board you can have enough to swing for game and this guy is a level 6 and only needs one tribute then to stop xyz monsters here is inspector boarder its a comlicated card but if you learn when to play it you will be good against most monsters and here are some xyz monster i found here is tornado dragon and time thief redoer and you mentioned before you deck uses cards with repeating names and it reminds me of this card Gagaga Cowboy which is a pretty good card these should help you

Gabe chuckles yeah i bet it is but if you want to win you should look for more xyz monsters

After 5 minutes of getting tangled and setting up the hammock
Yuma oof that was tough but i did it now im really tired good night gabe
