Across from him sat Kanae Kocho, who rarely had free time these days, and Shinobu Kocho, who had come along with her sister.

Shinobu's voice grew quieter and quieter near the end.
"Kai-chan, Shinobu, she..."
Kanae began, only for Kaito to interrupt her.
"Let's eat first. Whatever it is, we can talk after breakfast."
Kanae could only give Shinobu an apologetic look.
