Chapter 4 - More developement

After the rant I clicked the rest of the traits

[Trait: strong body

Description: you've tirelessly worked for days, taking way too little breaks. Even if your body demands rest, you've managed to push out even more energy from somewhere multiple times, all your work granted you a mighty body]

[Trait: Stable mind

Description: After experiencing insanity itself and managing to push past your limits multiple times, your mind has now become fortified, unaffected even by the worst of pains or emotions.]

Well that's really nice, but now I wonder what else can I get, would inflicting pain on myself land me the 'masochist' trait, would not eating land me a trait. Ideas, ideas.

The lack of details remains though.

But getting back on track, these traits are really good, or so I think, I don't really have a benchmark.

I closed my eyes again.

I seem to be doing good, maybe I'll laze some more.

The following day I went back to work. After this I finally settled into a comfortable rhythm, for 6 days I work, on the 7th I rest, unless there's some extremely urgent work, then I work and skip the rest day.

As time trickled by, I noticed as my body got muscular, not the bodybuilder level, I don't have the definition of muscles for that, but still, my legs and arms are as thick as logs, not to mention my core, that's a beast of its' own.

I've strained my back, even tore a bicep once, then I learned one thing, any injury I get will heal perfectly, if it's an open wound it'll leave a scar if not treated properly, yes, but other than that, it's as if the injury wasn't even there.

The second is that not counting my meager regeneration skills, my regeneration rate is insane, I mean I recovered the wound in less than 2 months.

I've learned a lot too, for example I even had to learn architecture, since the system considered house building a craft too, though since there was no theatre or film making room, it seemed to use something along the lines of my definition of crafting.

Thank God.

Fun fact, at some point I started making machines, not the mechanical kind, the full on electrical with the wires, circuit boards, programming and so on.

By this point my progress slowed to a crawl, since I started learning what I found boring, like programming.

I know it's important, but still, couldn't the system give me some goodies after a certain point in time, since, for example, when making computers, I've had to go from step one to the modern computers bit by bit.

Even worse, I'm alone, if only there were more people here, the progress would be so much faster.

I learned to make bombs, breed new species of both plants and animals, even learned how to make medicine.

At this point, I've unlocked most magical rooms, but I decided to ignore them for now, I want to focus on what I started.

Bit by bit I managed to achieve automation after I went through all the 9 levels of hell and back when programming ai, thank God I found a very direct manual on how to make them. I never want to do it again.

Tried to make bionics for myself, but when I understood that I'd have to cut off limbs to fully utilise them, I settle to just making them and test were conducted using a computer which was linked to the bionics.

Another thing is that I scrapped the gas mask and after noticing I was over 80, yet my body look at most in its late 30s only due to my beard and other hairy places, I decided to try one thing.

Killing myself.

I started making dies like crazy then, purposfully inhaling as much of the poisonous stuff as I can.

I passed out, yes, woke up in a lot of pain too, but dying was not there on the list.

Regardless of the injury, I'd recover after enough time.

As I slowly lost the fear of death as I went crazy a couple more times, tried learning other stuff, like fighting, but that didn't work out well, since I knew nothing about fighting and had nothing to test myself against.

Made weapons too, my favourite so far is this minigun I made, goes through 60 bullets a second, thus very expensive, but the spray of bullets is crazy, I'm working on getting that number up to 400+.

I have unlimited materials, even of the very rare or expensive stuff, like tungsten, diamond or even uranium (yes, I made a hazmat suit, but the radiation there was so severe that I needed 3 hazmat suit layers minimum to ward it off), though I left the latter alone, only using it to build up radiation resistance, yes, I have a skill for that too.

After a reeeeealy long time, I started to max out skills one by one, from resistances to stuff like blacksmithing.

Turns out the max skill level is 100, but in the case of resistances, if the resistance increase was 0.5% per level, the last level gave full on immunity for weak effects and the resistance is applied only to stronger effects

I also hit the hit the first 100 in stats, DEX and INT to be precise, my lowest stat is CHA, stuck at 13, followed by luck at 14

And finally, after a time so long, I maxed out all that I could from the non-magical section, I mean check it out

After I maxed out certain resistances, they combined into one, like maxed out burn, blunt damage, slash damage, shock resistance and so on, combined into 'physical resistance', already maxed out thank god.

Same with environmental, which has radiation, heat, cold ,poison, drowning, electricity, poison and burn resistances In one.

The same happened with crafting, at one point I had over 40 skills, just the pure amount of different crafts there are, from jewellery and pottery, to glassblowing, to even something like basket making.

I got programming too, but after raising it to max level, it got absorbed too. Trust me on this one, I was so determined to automate as much as possible, I spent years learning different programming languages and shit, then all the failures I experienced.

I mean there is no other craft where misspelling a single word can lead to the entire thing becoming broken.

But the reward was oh so worth it, because I could spend just a 10th of what I had to on getting the raw materials. And by 10th I mean less than that usually, unless an accident happened.

From the crafting skills, I maxed out woodworking and blacksmithing first, followed by tailoring and glassblowing, as I spent the most time on those. Then soon came cooking, then gunsmithing and fletching, weapon- and armor smithing and bit by bit the rest followed

I maxed out basketmaking the fastest, since by then my DEX and INT were so high I speedran the skill in less than a decade. The complexity mainly coming from the different materials I had to use and the patterns I decided to weave in.

It's a pain, but I like the process.

But I do have a problem, my certain stats stalled in growth, like CHA, which I don't care, but STR and AGI I do care.

The think is that all my tools don't exactly weigh that much and repetitive motion using the exact same weight can only push one so far.

I tried increasing the weight of my tools, which helped, but still, even the, STR growth is slow

But AGI is a different beast. I have very little need to go fast anywhere, be it running or rushing a project, since time doesn't affect me.

As I was thinking that, I opened the door to my first magical craft room, potioneering.

Once I stepped inside, a prompt appeared before me
