Chapter 126 - Chapter 125: The Monster

A couple of bright lights appeared in the dark sky.

BOOM.

BOOM.

BOOM.

All of those lights followed Haidoro.

H.P(thinking): These lights... Hmm. Seems like he is using them to mark me as a target and unleash his elemental attacks later.

Within a blink—

Haidoro disappeared.

Enimo released his Aura into the surrounding area.

5 miles.

The distance between Enimo and Haidoro.

3 miles.

1 mile.

10 metres.

Haidoro's movements through Pratik's body were creating powerful sonic booms.

He was deliberately showcasing his location through those booms.

Enimo(thinking): His movements have changed.

In the next blink—

BOOM!

Haidoro's punch sent Enimo crashing away, destroying an entire mountain along with him.

H.P(thinking): I guess I should test the techniques of this brat.

A powerful beam was released towards Haidoro.

Haidoro deflected it with the back of his hand.

The redirected beam went on to destroy a huge portion of another mountain.

The back of Haidoro's hand was barely burnt.

The burn healed almost instantly.

[H.P]: I am more excited to see his elemental attacks, though.

Enimo appeared back in the sky.

He prepared an even more powerful beam.

But as soon as he positioned his hands—

Both of them were bisected into several pieces.

Haidoro was already behind Enimo in the sky.

Before Enimo could fully turn around, Haidoro grabbed his face and crashed him into the ground.

BOOM!

A quake followed.

A very powerful quake.

Enimo struggled to get back up, only to be kicked far away.

Haidoro gave his evil smirk with Pratik's face.

Enimo spawned a shell and launched it towards Haidoro.

Haidoro caught it mid-air.

He already swallowed it before the shell could activate.

BOOM!

A small burst occurred inside him.

It didn't hurt Haidoro at all.

In fact—

Haidoro simply gave a loud burp.

BUUURP.

Enimo's eyes widened.

He had finally realized just how powerful his opponent was.

Without wasting any more time, Enimo activated his Water Elemental Magic and fired a tremendously powerful beam towards Haidoro.

Haidoro dodged it.

The beam turned around and targeted him again.

Haidoro jumped high into the sky.

H.P(thinking): Water element?

He observed Enimo carefully.

H.P(thinking): No. That isn't his primary element, I suppose. He is trying to create his own footwork.

A pause.

H.P(thinking): It seems I have fought him before...

H.P(thinking): Where was it again?

Finding an opening, Enimo placed his hand on the ground.

Within an instant—

Thousands of enormous dragons made entirely of water flew towards Haidoro.

[H.P]: Range Shiftling, Hyper-mass.

[H.P]: Range Shiftling, Pressure.

Using Pratik's Range Shiftlings, Haidoro created a zone of increased mass and another region filled with immense pressure.

As soon as the water entered the Hyper-mass region—

BOOM!

The water burst apart and turned into steam.

Inside the Pressure region, the water dragons instantly froze into ice.

Then—

CRACK!

They shattered.

Haidoro looked at the results with interest.

[H.P]: I see.

He smiled.

[H.P]: This concludes that when I use the techniques of this brat, the output remains the same.

Before Enimo could understand what he meant—

Haidoro appeared behind him and threw him away.

Enimo crashed through several trees.

He managed to regain his balance and immediately ripped out a tree, throwing it towards the approaching Haidoro.

Haidoro simply kicked the tree back at him.

The tree bark struck Enimo directly in the face.

Before he could react—

BOOM!

Haidoro kicked Enimo high into the sky.

[H.P]: Range Shiftling, Shadow Lord's Grave.

The technique of Shadow Lord's Grave normally required Pratik's rage to cross a certain threshold, allowing his killing intent to manifest.

However, Haidoro could activate it willingly.

After all...

He didn't need rage to possess killing intent.

The voidal world swallowed Enimo from mid-air.

Inside the Range Shiftling, countless Angels of Death appeared.

And then—

They released their arrows.

Millions of them.

The technique had been heavily amplified.

Whenever Pratik used Shadow Lord's Grave, he could have at most a thousand Angels of Death within the domain.

But now—

Millions of Angels stood before Enimo.

The technique relied on malice.

And malice amplified it.

Millions of arrows rained down upon Enimo.

**

15 seconds later...

Range Shiftling, Shadow Lord's Grave was deactivated.

Enimo lay on the ground.

Countless arrows were pierced through his body.

He was gravely wounded.

Haidoro, meanwhile, stood casually with his hands inside his pockets.

Then—

Rain began pouring from the sky.

It washed the blood of the monsters from the mountain, along with the blood of the Dark Dragolings Haidoro had slaughtered.

Enimo barely managed to stand.

Yet his eyes remained determined.

Haidoro smiled.

His eyes were filled with intrigue.

Both of them knew what was about to happen.

[Enimo]: Grant me power, O One Winged.

A sacrificial deal.

A deal that would grant Enimo absolute mastery over his primary element—

At the cost of his life.

Haidoro tilted his head.

[H.P]: Your primary element is Fire, I suppose.

He looked at Enimo.

[H.P]: Why didn't you use it this whole time?

[Enimo]: I know well that I cannot defeat you with my mastery, even if it is my primary element.

Flames began engulfing Enimo's body.

His entire body began burning.

[Enimo]: I shall slay you.

The heat radiating from Enimo began burning the nearby trees despite the heavy rain.

No raindrop could reach him.

Every drop evaporated before touching his body.

His reasoning was only half correct.

Pratik's primary element was Plasma.

An attribute that far surpassed Fire, Magma, and almost every other heat-related element.

However...

Enimo still didn't know that someone else was controlling Pratik's body.

Haidoro smiled.

[H.P]: Sounds great.

He extended his hand.

[H.P]: In that case...

The flames released by Enimo began gathering around Haidoro's hands.

They formed a pair of flaming gloves.

[H.P]: I shall beat you with your own power.

Enimo's eyes widened.

But despite his shock—

He attacked Haidoro anyway.

A massive sphere of light formed.

And then—

BOOOOOOM!

Everything was destroyed.

The clouds above them were completely erased.

The rain disappeared in an instant.

Even the clouds vanished.

Everything seemed white.

...

Is this the afterlife?

Enimo looked at himself.

He was no longer in his adult body.

It was his teenage body.

He stared at himself for a moment.

Then he understood.

This really was the afterlife.

Enimo clenched his fists.

[Enimo]: Seems like I never grew up.

He began walking towards the gates of Hell.

Behind him followed the comrades who had been slain by Haidoro.

One by one, they followed their leader.

Enimo's body slowly vaporized away.

Back in the mortal world—

Haidoro watched it all with indifferent eyes.

There was only one thing left.

A small scratch on his cheek.

[H.P]: He wasn't half bad, I see.

He looked around.

Then he felt something.

[H.P]: It seems this brat is going to take his control back.

A small smile appeared on his face.

[H.P]: I should at least release some of my pent-up Aura.

Haidoro released his Aura.

And the Aura Release of Haidoro that day resulted in a 6.0-scale earthquake near Kingdom Ka99.
