I am in my late teens, 16 to be precise.
I am currently the youngest sorcerer in the society, my society, Immortalus Sorcery Society.
Things are tight today so I won't get into much details.
My parents died during 1994's alien invasion or atleast that is what my mentor said.
After that Catastrophic Event, that man with cold face stole me from the outerworld. Actually Sorcery Society is secret world that runs behind the scenes so let's drop further details.
That man became my mentor and also my teacher.
I wasn't thrown into sorcery stuff just back then actually, he just grabbed me and gave me normal life, maybe luxurious one in another country. I lived in some major countries like America, China and India.
When I turned 15, he reappeared grabbed me again and then dragged me into this sorcery stuff.

Oops, I forgot about my mission today, I am getting some big scolding today. Hell.
I reached the spot. Immortalus Society is huge faction, the residency is very very large, as large as some minor country itself.
It is just residency again, divided into various sectors.
Each sector has it's own features.
The sector I am entering is meant for group teleportation.
The mission assigned to me today is A grade mission. This is rare for anyone.
My group was waiting for me and when I reached there, they were glaring daggers at me. Sowwy. Forgive this newbie child.
Despite my age and other factors, I am still Apprentice Class A grade sorcerer.
They said my Dark Energy Reserves are weird but I have potential.
[Lila]: Where have you been you trash?!
[Mala]: We have been waiting here for whole hour.

Anyways our mission is to eliminate some group of monsters or whatever creature they are on this damn planet.
Yes, we are currently walking on another planet. That portal transported us from Earth to here.
[Pratik]: How long are we walking again?

She is my colleague with same class and rank however her age is 25 years. She looks 20 though. It's because all sorcerers once admitted in any Sorcery Society age slowly. Very slowly and few even get partial immortality.
My mentor's age is 60 years but he looks 21.
After walking for a couple of hours we reached the place.
Many monster had gathered there. They were performing some ritual.
This was giving me some unease. They are screaming ' DO GOS YERA! DO GOS YERA!'.
It was looking like they were showing their devotion to their supposed God.
[Grimori]: Hey but... aren't they making some summoning spell circles?
This fact shook me from my delusion. They are infact summoning something or someone. They just placed body of some monster at the centre of the spell circle.
This was dangerous. My instincts are telling me to stop this or...I won't make it alive.
Without waiting for anything else, I attacked the monster corpse with my spells and jumped at the site.
The summoning spell was disturbed and thankfully it was cancelled.
A huge army of monsters started approaching me .
However my teammates jumped in too.
A chaotic fight started.
[Mala]: What were thinking, you idiot!
[Pratik]: My instincts were screaming me to stop that. Obviously it was something that would have unleashed destruction.
[Grimori]: I agree with him. The summoning was leading to fluctuations in space.
[Kel]: Does that even matter? We are here to eradicate them and we are going that.
[Mala]: I never refused but everything should have an order. That's what I mean
[Pratik]: Does it even matter if we are dead?
[Mala]:...
Suddenly a deep chill went through my spine. I think my friends sensed it too.
A hippopotamus faced monster was walking towards us.
Despite this tense situation I couldn't stop my laughter.
[Pratik]: Hahahaha... hippo...looks like he was on diet....look ,look at his tail! Hahaha...
The Hippo monster was shooting murderous Aura.
[Hippo]: Dos No Dos Doon?
Huh? Sir can you speak English?
In the next moment he punched in my guts, I felt insane pain.
It send me flying away.
It felt like I was some fairy without wings.
To be honest,that hurts!!! I felt like vomiting blood but that wasn't blood. I will surely not wanna be fairy again in my life.
The Hippo arroached towards me and landed a punch again, but this time it was my face.
This guy surely developed some grudge against me.
But it was getting bad. He was monster in physical strength and of course he is a monster practically too.
[Pratik]: Shadow Gutter!
The shadows of huge monuments he was walking on turned into something like quick sand and started to swallow him inside.
I dashed towards him with full force and landed a blow with my magic hammer I just happened to create midway.
He took it easily and that freaking monster destroyed whole surrounding to escape my Shadow Gutter.
He threw himself at me but I happened to catch him (coincidentally) and tossed him away.
He was heavy though.
He returned to his feet easily and started running towards me.
Just before we could clash... something sliced that monster into pieces.
I couldn't see it .
There was another monster . His...Aura is unlike anything I have sensed from monster till now.
All my friends were defeated by this creature. He didn't kill anyone though.
My legs were trembling.
Before I can understand anything I was too tied up and thrown with my friends.
I should have had activated some secret technique in advanced. I failed to copy the treachery of that man who mentored me.
But why isn't this monster killing us?
"Looks like all of them were for nothing."
The monster muttered.
Finally, a monster with Earthling language. His name happens to be Serag.
[Serag]: My lord won't be pleased to see this. As apology I must atleast hand these brats to them.
Huff...am I gonna die? Life wasn't that bad if I exclude the factor so called Mala girl. My only regret...I don't remember.

Suddenly noise of someone walking could be heard.
My heart was pumping faster.
All my friends are unconscious and I am the only one with my senses intact. So I can see this.
A human walking out of the shadows.
Yeah! This is my mentor! One of the Big Three Sorcerers of Immortalus Society, also the Leader of Immortalus Society, the one who had ranked 1st in 1990's ISFC exams, Krishna!

He was having calm and composed face even now.
Our chains were already broken. Wait, we are already behind Master Krishna.
