Synopsis
Who said that a woman can't be the MC in a world built for male MCs? Fifi was one of the lucky people who got isekai-ed to another world, but instead of a sweet dating sim world with a handsome reverse harem... She was isekaied to a world of beast taming... the world where the usual male MC rose to power by taming dragons and legendary monsters. Honestly? She didn't mind at all. Isekai was still Isekai. And also, the world was not that bad. She was always an animal lover, and even better, she got a cheat, a staple of every MC, and it was specialized for adorable fluffy mons. While other people chase dragons and legendary monsters to tame... She will take her time to live her new peaceful life surrounded by soft fur, warm paws, and adorable fluffballs. Dragons? Legendary monsters? World-ending monsters? What are those? They don't hold a candle to my adorable fluffy mons.

Chapter 1 - Plot Twist: No Reverse Harem

"Nnnnh... so good..."

Fifi leaned back in her chair, eyes half-closed.

A satisfied smile appeared on her face as she swallowed the last bite of her strawberry cake.

Beside her, Liora stared at the stack of plates beside Fifi.

"Of course it's good. It's one of the best cakes in town, but..."

She crossed her arms and gave Fifi a long look.

"Don't you care about your body? You already ate four of them! Aren't you afraid of getting fat?"

Fifi turned her head toward Liora, tilting her head.

"Me? Fat?"

She laughed a little, shaking her head.

"How laughable. I train my body every day, and I count calories. I know exactly how much I can and should eat."

Fifi smiled and then leaned closer to Liora. She looked her up and down.

"But you... let's see."

Before Liora could react, Fifi reached out and lightly pinched her stomach.

"Hey! Stop it!"

Liora grabbed Fifi's wrist at once, holding it tight.

Her cheeks turned red, half embarrassed and half annoyed.

"What the hell is wrong with you?"

Fifi looked at her for a second and laughed a little.

She pulled her hand back and raised both her arms in surrender.

"I'm just playing with you. Don't get so angry. It's bad for your face."

She grinned. It was clear that she was enjoying herself.

Liora shot up from her seat a little.

"Damn, I'm still young, okay?"

She pointed at her own face and caressed it a little.

"My skin is still perfect and smooth."

Fifi squinted at her and leaned closer, pretending to inspect her.

"Hmmm... we'll see in a few years."

Liora frowned, raising her voice a little.

"Hey!"

Zara, who had been quietly sipping her tea the whole time, sighed.

"Okay, okay. Calm down, both of you. We didn't come here to fight over cake, body weight, or even your skins, right?"

Both of them paused.

Fifi cleared her throat and sat properly while Liora brushed her hair back and fixed her cloth.

Zara smiled, putting her cup down. Her face quickly turned serious.

"Tomorrow will be our graduation day, and it's also the day where we will awaken our own beast-taming talent."

Fifi and Liora nodded together.

"Yeah, we know that already."

Zara folded her hands together and put her chin on top of them.

"If you two know that... then after awakening, what will you do?"

She paused, her fingers tightening slightly.

"Don't take this as a joke, but you two are my best friends. I really want to know both of your answers."

She leaned in a little, her eyes moving between them.

"What kind of future path are you going to choose?"

Liora didn't even pause to think.

She straightened her back and answered Zara right away.

"Of course I'll become a beast tamer. Isn't that the only real choice?"

She clenched her fist lightly, already excited about it.

Zara sighed, then smiled a little.

"Of course it is..."

She turned her head toward Fifi next.

"What about you, Fifi? You're basically the leader of our group."

Fifi tilted her head and innocently opened her mouth.

"I don't know."

Zara blinked.

Liora almost jumped from her seat.

"You don't know? What the heck are you talking about?"

Fifi looked at her, then shrugged.

"We don't even know what kind of talent we'll awaken. Not all talents are good for fighting. Heck, we don't even know if ours will be strong."

She leaned back in her chair and casually pointed her fork at them.

"That's why I said, 'I don't know.' Let's save this talk for tomorrow, okay?"

Liora opened her mouth, then slowly closed it, not knowing how to rebuke her.

Zara looked at Fifi for a moment, then smiled.

"Yeah... that sounds just like you."

Fifi only smiled a little hearing that. After that, she raised her eyebrow.

"So... is that all you wanted to talk about?"

Zara nodded.

"Yeah. That's all."

Fifi grinned and suddenly raised her hand high.

"Miss waiter! Two more cakes! One chocolate and one blueberry!"

Liora's eyes widened.

"You're still eating?!"

Fifi smirked and tapped the table with her fork.

"Of course. The cakes here aren't that high in calories. I check before coming, so I can eat more."

Liora stared at her.

"You actually checked?"

Fifi grinned, folding her hands proudly.

"Of course. I always check for the sake of eating more."

Zara laughed softly and lifted her hand as well.

"Me too. I haven't eaten much anyway. One strawberry cake for me... and another cup of black tea."

Liora looked between them, then groaned.

"Dang it... fine. One cheesecake for me."

Fifi turned her head toward her and smirked, teasing her.

"Oh? Aren't you afraid of getting fat, Liora?"

Liora frowned, checking her body once before replying.

"Damn it, Fifi. I train too, you know. I won't get fat. I am a girl after all."

Zara couldn't hold it anymore and started laughing. Life with her friends was the best.

The serious talk about the future was completely forgotten as the three of them waited for more cake.

Fifi waved her hands at her friends at the conjunction.

Her friends waved their hands at her too and left.

She smiled and then walked back to her own house.

While walking... she couldn't help remembering the words that she said to her friends.

"Don't think too much..."

She laughed a little as the truth was that she was overthinking about the awakening ceremony tomorrow.

It was because her current condition and identity were quite special.

It was not that she was a rich second-generation young mistress...

Or even that she had a secret bloodline or something like that.

The truth was that she was one of those people you always read about in comics and novels.

Yes.

She was one of those people who got isekai-ed into another world and became the MC.

But to her surprise, as a woman, she thought that she would be isekai-ed to a dating sim world with a handsome harem.

Instead, she was isekai'd here into this beast-taming world.

"Damn... what a plot twist..."
