Lina pushed open the door and found Alexander still working.
She sighed quietly.
From the outside, Alexander's life looked almost perfect. He had money, status, influence, and a company that continued to grow under his leadership. People saw the polished suits, expensive cars, and executive office and assumed his life must be comfortable, but Lina knew better. Only Alexander knew how much work went into maintaining everything he had built.
If he had simply wanted an easy life, Sterling Entertainment could have supported him comfortably for the rest of his life. He could have lived without pushing himself so hard, but Alexander had never chosen that path. He had built his position himself and continued to take responsibility for every part of the company, even when doing so meant sacrificing his own time.
Alexander finished reading a document and leaned back, closing his eyes briefly to rest them. When he opened them again, he noticed Lina standing at the door and staring at him.
