Lina had been staying up late for the past few days reading scripts, and apparently her brain had finally decided it had had enough.
Her gaze fell on the script lying beside her.
Then she remembered.
Alexander had given it to her.
Lina stared at the pages for several seconds before the full truth sank in.
She had been reading the script he had personally brought to her apartment, while completely forgetting to contact the man who had given it to her.
For three days.
Three entire days.
She suddenly felt like the most heartless girlfriend in Westhaven.
Alexander had gone to all that trouble to get the script for her, picked her up after work, spent time with her, stayed overnight because she had asked him to, and then she had essentially disappeared into the pages of his script without sending him so much as a message.
What else could she possibly be but a terrible girlfriend?
Lina glanced at the time.
It wasn't too late yet.
