Sophie gave Lina a thumbs-up.
Lina's cheeks warmed slightly at the compliment. She was already embarrassed enough without Sophie making her sound like the most irresistible woman alive.
"That's enough," Lina said, trying to suppress her embarrassment. "You're making me sound as though I'm on top of the world. Besides, I'm serious. The other person is far too impressive. I can't compare with him at all."
Sophie stared at her in surprise.
"You're that amazing, and you're still saying you can't compare with him? Don't tell me you're planning to marry into some wealthy family."
Lina's expression immediately darkened.
"You're becoming more outrageous by the minute. I'm genuinely asking you for advice, so stop making fun of me."
Seeing that Lina was beginning to look genuinely anxious, Sophie quickly raised both hands in surrender.
"Alright, alright. Don't get angry. Just tell me exactly what happened that day, from beginning to end, and I'll analyse it properly for you."
