Lina couldn't get rid of him.
In the end, she pointed towards the vegetables. "Fine. Wash the radishes."
Lucien walked over without the slightest complaint. He picked up one of the large white radishes and stood beside her, rolling his sleeves a little higher before turning on the tap.
For a moment, neither of them spoke.
The kitchen cameras were still running, but the audio had already been switched off. Their conversation would not be heard by the viewers. Even so, Lina kept her voice low.
"Don't look at me like that."
Lina paused with the knife in her hand.
"Like what?"
"Like you're annoyed with me."
"I am annoyed with you."
"That's not what I meant."
She looked at him properly. Lucien was washing the radish with an expression that was far too serious for the task.
"Then what did you mean?"
"Don't look at other people like that either."
Lina stared at him.
"What's wrong with you?"
