The clouds above the parking lot suddenly began to darken. Henry looked up and his expression changed immediately. "Everyone, get your weapons ready. We've got company."
Dean followed his gaze toward the sky. "Demons?"
"Dozens of them." Henry looked toward the edge of the parking lot. "Alastair's with them."
Figures began appearing between the parked cars, one after another.
Within seconds, the parking lot was surrounded, with Alastair standing at the front of the group.
Alastair looked toward Henry with a faint smile. "This little game of cat and mouse has gone on long enough."
He slowly walked forward while the other demons spread out around him. "I do enjoy chasing my prey, letting it hide until it thinks it's safe, then dragging it out and cutting it apart. Unfortunately, I don't have time for games anymore."
Henry stepped forward. "Good. Because I'm getting tired of running too."
His eyes began glowing white as energy gathered around his body.
Lightning flickered across his shoulders while blue energy formed around both forearms, condensing rapidly until it covered his fists like glowing gauntlets. Henry clenched his hands.
"This time, I'm going all out."
Alastair's smile disappeared. "You really are a feisty little bastard."
His eyes turned completely white as demonic power surged through him. "I'll enjoy breaking you."
Henry disappeared from where he stood. Alastair vanished at the same instant.
They collided in the middle of the parking lot. Their fists slammed together with enough force to send a shockwave across the surrounding cars, the asphalt beneath their feet cracking before collapsing into a crater.
The demons surrounding them immediately backed away as Henry and Alastair remained locked against each other, neither giving an inch.
They tore into each other again, trading punches across the crater.
Henry drove his glowing fist into Alastair's jaw, forcing the demon several steps backward, but Alastair recovered almost instantly and came back with a brutal punch aimed at Henry's ribs.
Henry twisted aside, caught the demon's arm, drove his elbow into Alastair's face, then threw another punch into his chest. Alastair barely moved, instead grabbing Henry by the collar and throwing him across the parking lot.
Henry hit the ground, rolled through the impact, and pushed himself back to his feet as blue energy continued crackling around his fists.
Alastair straightened his coat. "You've got some strength, kid, but you're still fighting an old man who's been around for a very long time."
Henry wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. "Old man, huh?" His eyes flashed brighter as the energy around his arms intensified. "Then maybe it's time you finally retired."
Alastair's smile widened as he lowered his stance. "Come on, kid. Show me what you've got."
Dean crouched behind the Impala as another shockwave tore across the parking lot, sending pieces of asphalt and debris flying past them.
"What the fuck is going on?" he shouted over the noise.
Bobby ducked lower beside him. "Stay down! If you lot get caught out there, you'll be smashed before you even get close enough to do anything!"
Sam looked toward the two figures in the middle of the parking lot.
Henry and Alastair were moving too quickly to follow properly, every collision sending another burst of energy across the ground.
He turned toward Anna. "Are angels supposed to be this powerful?"
Anna watched the fight with a worried expression and slowly shook her head. "No. Not normal angels." She kept her eyes on the flashes of energy.
"Angels can't normally cause this kind of destruction. Only high-ranking angels — Seraphim — have that kind of power. They're extremely rare, even in Heaven. Powerful enough that most of them answer directly to the Archangels." Another massive impact shook the parking lot.
"So what the hell is one of them doing here?"
***
Blue energy rapidly gathered in Henry's hand, compressing into a spinning sphere that grew denser with every second.
He had obtained the technique some time ago but had never found a reason to use it in a serious fight. With Alastair standing in front of him, there was no point holding back anymore.
"Rasengan!"
Henry rushed forward and drove the spinning sphere toward Alastair.
The demon twisted away at the last second, causing the attack to miss by inches and slam into the ground.
Henry had already anticipated the dodge. As Alastair moved past him, Henry pivoted and threw his other fist straight toward the demon's face.
Ether Burst.
The instant his fist connected, Henry released the compressed energy.
[Revenant Impact].
A blinding flash erupted from the point of impact, followed by an explosive shockwave that tore through the entire parking lot.
The asphalt was ripped apart across the entire area, a deep ravine cutting through the ground from the point of impact and extending outward.
Every vehicle caught in the blast was thrown away or completely destroyed, twisted metal scattered across the ruined ground.
Only the Impala remained intact.
Dean slowly lifted his head from behind the car and stared at the destruction surrounding them. He looked at the Impala, then at the wreckage around it, then turned toward Sam with complete disbelief.
"What the fuck?"
