Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: The Twisted Father Project in Progress

Seiga Yukinoshita felt Kanjuro's warm palm caressing her cheek, and tears began to fall uncontrollably.

At this moment, she suddenly realized: even if Kanjuro was considered irredeemable by others, and even if she had always been at odds with him, he was the one who reached out to help her in her most vulnerable moment.

She felt overwhelmed with guilt, realizing she had been judging him with malice all along.

"Stop crying," Kanjuro said gently as he draped his jacket over her shoulders. "As long as I'm here, no one can bully you."

Seiga Yukinoshita instinctively threw herself into his arms, but then suddenly realized something and tried to pull away.

Kanjuro held her even tighter, his deep voice carrying a reassuring power: "Cry if you want to. Just let it all out in my arms."

Kanjuro knew his plan had succeeded.

The woman before him was the biological mother of Yukino Yukinoshita and Haruno Yukinoshita from oregairu.

His "Twisted Father Project" was being implemented perfectly.

He could hardly contain his excitement at the thought of Yukino Yukinoshita willfully calling him "Father" one day, or the seductive Haruno Yukinoshita calling him "Daddy" in a sweet voice.

"I'm no longer pure, Kanjuro."

Seiga Yukinoshita sobbed as she recounted her ordeal. "I don't deserve your embrace."

Kanjuro feigned shock, a look of righteous indignation crossing his face. "To think someone would do something so subhuman to you... what absolute scum!"

Hearing those words from Kanjuro's mouth felt a bit strange to Seiga Yukinoshita, but her guilt was stronger. She knew deep down that she had misjudged him all this time.

Kanjuro lowered his head and gently brushed the corner of her lips.

Under the moonlight, Seiga Yukinoshita was deeply captivated by his peerless, handsome face, momentarily losing herself.

As their eyes met, Kanjuro softly kissed her lips.

This time, it wasn't a forceful demand, but a lingering kiss full of deep affection.

A crystal tear slid from the corner of Seiga Yukinoshita's eye during the kiss—a tear of gratitude.

"I'll take you home."

"Okay!" Under the moonlight, the two strolled through the evening breeze.

Kanjuro carefully buttoned up the suit jacket for her, afraid she might expose herself.

This consideration was precious to Seiga Yukinoshita; she realized she was gradually falling in love with this man.

Gazing at Kanjuro's handsome profile, she couldn't help but feel a bit infatuated.

As they parted, they were reluctant to let go. "Miyabi, see you tomorrow!" Kanjuro planted a kiss on her cheek.

Seiga Yukinoshita nodded, wrapped the jacket tighter around herself, and disappeared through the villa's entrance, looking back every few steps.

Once she was gone, Kanjuro slowly turned around.

On that peerlessly handsome face, a sinister curve suddenly formed between his sharp brows and bright eyes.

He could no longer suppress his inner ecstasy, clutching his stomach as he laughed out loud: "Hahahaha... stupid woman, this is only the beginning. It's nowhere near enough!"

He greedily licked his lips, unable to contain his excitement at the thought of embracing the mothers of the two anime heroines, Yuigahama and Yukinoshita.

"With the power of the dark bible granted by the President, dealing with these women is truly a piece of cake." Kanjuro yawned and strolled back to his residence.

The next day, Kanjuro conveyed the President's request to Morimoto Reina.

Although Morimoto Reina was puzzled, she nodded obediently. "Recruiting women for the Occult Research Society isn't hard; money can solve that."

"Remember," Kanjuro reminded her, "while talking about money, you should also discuss hobbies and interests. After all, not all women are motivated by wealth."

"Like me," Morimoto Reina said, affectionately linking her arm with his. "What I love is you, my husband Kanjuro..."

"Is that so?" Kanjuro raised an eyebrow dismissively.

He never trusted any woman.

He handed Morimoto Reina a file he had personally compiled. She flipped through the strange list: Kasugano (Yosuga no Sora); Fujimine (Yukiko from Conan); zenjou (Fate); Aozaki (Witch on the Holy Night); Kisaki (Eri Kisaki); Kaname (Puella Magi Madoka Magica); Miura (oregairu); Chihaya (Chihaya Anon from MyGO!!!!!); Misaka (A Certain Magical Index)... Kasumigaoka (Saekano), Kato (Saekano), Sawamura (Saekano).

The file was quite eerie, containing only surnames without given names, covering almost every common Japanese surname.

"What does this mean?" Morimoto Reina asked, perplexed.

"Filter for women with exceptional looks from these surnames and have them join the Occult Research Society," Kanjuro explained. "That is our goal."

"I don't quite understand, but I'll follow your request and gather women with those surnames."

"Remember, as long as they are exceptionally beautiful, no other conditions matter." This was Kanjuro's selfish motive.

What if he got lucky? Since he was destined to have relationships with these women in the Occult Research Society, why not specifically look for beauties who shared surnames with anime characters? If they were to bear his children, wouldn't that be perfect?

This was the full scope of his "Twisted Father Ambition." With the power of the Morimoto family, finding stunning women with those surnames wouldn't be difficult. Coupled with the power of the dark bible granted by the President, Kanjuro had plenty of stamina to deal with these women.

While Kanjuro and Morimoto Reina were intimate, he keenly noticed a change in her expression. "What's wrong?"

Morimoto Reina sighed softly. "Kanjuro, I'm willing to do anything for you. But I'm only the second-in-command of the Morimoto Group. My sister will be back from abroad soon, and I'm worried she'll target you."

"We'll deal with that when it happens," Kanjuro said dismissively. Morimoto Reina's sister? Wasn't that Morimoto Leona? He swallowed hard secretly; she was indeed a difficult character, but he was confident in himself—there wasn't a woman he couldn't handle.

"Don't worry," he comforted her softly. "Let's proceed with the plan for now. When she actually returns, I'll face her together with you."

"Okay!" Morimoto Reina was overjoyed. She rarely heard such considerate words from Kanjuro; this simple gesture of concern was enough to make her happy all day.

After leaving the office, Kanjuro returned to the classroom.

He saw that Seiga Yukinoshita had regained her usual cold, aloof demeanor in her kimono, but the moment she saw Kanjuro, the ice in her expression melted, and she gave him a heartfelt smile.

In Seiga Yukinoshita's eyes, Kanjuro was the light of salvation in her life.
