Chapter 4 - This is just like a game

"Spatial Farmland. Level 1. Reclaimed. Suitable for crops. Crop growth speed increased by ten times. Can be taken outside the space. Can improve outside soil."

Sienna Vale's eyes widened.

She stood up quickly and rushed to the spring. Without hesitation, she dipped her fingers into the water. It was cool and fresh, as if it had just come from a mountain.

The voice sounded again.

"Space spring. Level 1. Drinkable. Enhances body condition. Can irrigate farmland. Crop growth speed increased by ten times. Can be taken outside the space. Can improve outside water and soil."

Sienna Vale's fingers stayed in the spring water. her face turned blank, as if her brain had stopped working for a moment. Then her lips slowly pulled into a grin, and the grin widened until it looked almost stupid.

After a few seconds, she suddenly burst into laughter.

"Hahaha… hahaha!"

She threw her head back, laughing so hard her shoulders shook.

"So generous," she muttered, half laughing and half choking on disbelief. "I thought you hated me, but you're actually giving me a gift. This big…"

She had been dragged into this world as a powerless waste, a woman who could never use magic or battle Spiritual Energy. In her heart, she had already accepted that her life would be miserable, that survival alone would be difficult.

But this…

This was different.

This was a cheat.

A real cheat.

Sienna Vale calmed down slowly, wiping the corner of her eye as if she had laughed too hard.

Then she walked toward the shovel and placed her hand on it.

"Shovel. Tool. Level 1. Automatically plows farmland. Work capacity: ten acres per day. Can be taken outside the space."

Her smile deepened. She immediately touched the bucket.

"Water bucket. Tool. Level 1. Automatically irrigates farmland. Work capacity: ten acres per day. Can be taken outside the space."

Then she touched the two bottles and the basket one by one.

"Insecticide. Level 1. Automatically kills pests. Poisonous. Not edible. Unlimited usage. Can be taken outside the space."

"Weed killer. Level 1. Automatically removes weeds. Poisonous. Not edible. Unlimited usage. Can be taken outside the space."

"Basket. Tool. Level 1. Automatically harvests crops. Work capacity: ten acres per day. Automatically stores harvested products in the warehouse."

Sienna Vale let out a long breath.

This was no longer just a farm game.

This was a real system.

A real space.

And it was made perfectly for survival.

Her excitement rose again, and she hurried into the grass hut. The inside was simple but complete. A small wooden bed stuffed with hay, a table, four chairs, a cabinet, a stove, and a full set of bowls and utensils.

But the strangest thing was near the bed.

A device that looked like a small computer screen, except there was only a display, no keyboard, no mouse.

Sienna Vale walked over quickly. The screen was already lit, showing two clear icons.

One said: "Farm Profile."

The other said: "Store."

Sienna Vale reached out and touched the farm profile icon. The moment her finger made contact, the icon turned into a beam of white light and shot straight into her forehead.

Her body jolted.

A flood of information rushed into her brain.

Sienna Vale staggered back a step, holding her head as she absorbed it. The knowledge didn't hurt like before, but it was overwhelming. After a while, she finally understood what had happened.

Back on Earth, she had been playing this farm game when she transmigrated. Somehow, during the crossing, the game had mutated and merged with her. It had become a real space system, bound to her soul.

She could enter it freely.

She could use its tools.

She could buy seeds and items from the store using gold coins.

She could sell harvested crops back to the store in exchange for more gold.

She could even bring things out of the space and bring outside things into it.

The only problem was that her level was too low. Many functions were locked. The farm could expand, the land could increase, and the system could become stronger, but only if she upgraded it.

And upgrading wasn't complicated. It required farming work, planting, watering, harvesting, and possibly bringing special items into the space so it could evolve.

Sienna Vale's breathing became deeper, her eyes shining.

She understood now.

This farm wasn't just a gift.

It was a lifeline.

No, it was more than that.

It was a weapon.

Her mind began forming wild thoughts. If space water could improve soil, then maybe she could change the Black Soil Wasteland. If she could grow crops ten times faster, then food would no longer be a problem. If she could build wealth, gather people, strengthen her power…

Then even revenge might not be impossible.

Sienna Vale stopped herself and shook her head, forcing her excitement down. her mouth still curled into a grin.

"Don't get ahead of yourself," she muttered. "Step by step."

She turned and tapped the store icon.

A prompt appeared instantly.

"Welcome to the Space Store. What would you like to buy?"

The screen showed rows of crop seeds, all things Sienna Vale recognized from Earth. Wheat, rice, vegetables, and fruits. Prices were listed beneath them. Sienna Vale didn't buy anything yet. She only looked briefly, then closed it. She could shop later. Right now, she wanted to understand everything inside this space first.

Her eyes shifted toward the cabinet.

She walked over, expecting it to be empty, but when she opened it, she found three items inside.

A cloth pouch.

A short staff carved with a worm-shaped head.

Another short staff carved with a grass-shaped head.

Sienna Vale's eyes narrowed. her heart beat faster.

She picked up the cloth pouch first.

The voice sounded again.

"Money pouch. Stores gold coins. Capacity unlimited. Current stored gold coins: five hundred. Due to the low level, gold coins cannot be taken outside the space."

Sienna Vale froze.

Then she slowly lifted her head, staring at the pouch like it were the most beautiful treasure in the world.

"Cannot be taken outside… because the level is low?"

Her lips spread into a dangerous grin.

That meant when her level increased…

She could take gold out.

And if that was true…

Then This farm wasn't just a tool for survival.

It was a path to absolute wealth.

Sienna Vale took several deep breaths, forcing her racing heart to calm down. Then she reached out and picked up the staff carved with the worm-shaped head.

The cold voice immediately sounded.

"Pest Applicator. Level 1. Can release pests to consume crops. Uses: fifty times per day. Can be taken outside the space."

Sienna Vale's eyebrows rose. She picked up the other staff, the one carved like grass.

"Weed Applicator. Level 1. Can release weeds to compete with crops for nutrients. Uses: fifty times per day. Can be taken outside the space."

Sienna Vale couldn't help but grin.

"Not bad," she muttered. "These things are made for ruining people."

She didn't know if she would ever need them, but having them in her hands made her feel safer. In this world, being kind didn't mean being protected. Sometimes, the only way to survive was to have a knife hidden behind your back.

After putting the two staff aside, Sienna Vale walked out of the hut and headed toward the warehouse. She still hadn't seen the system reward seeds, and the warehouse was the only place that made sense.

The warehouse looked plain, just another small straw building with a wooden door. No lock, no guard, nothing special at all. But Sienna Vale had already learned not to judge things in this place by appearance.

She placed her hand on the wooden door.

"Warehouse. Level 1. Can store items. Type and quantity: unlimited. Stored items can be taken out at any time and used outside the space. Existing items: pasture seeds, six bags."

As soon as the voice ended, six small cloth bags appeared neatly in front of her. Each bag had simple writing on it: _Grass Seeds_.

Sienna Vale blinked, then laughed softly.

"So that's how it works… just think about it."

She tried pushing the warehouse door, but it wouldn't budge. It felt like a wall, not a real entrance. Sienna Vale understood immediately. The warehouse wasn't a building. It was simply the system's storage, and the hut was only a symbol.

She didn't mind. If anything, it made things easier.

Sienna Vale turned around and went back to the straw hut, then sat down on the bed. her mind finally slowed enough for her to think properly.

She had Spatial Farmland, ten acres of it. She had a spring that never dried up. The crops inside grew ten times faster. If she used the spring water, it became even faster. With just these two things, starvation was no longer a problem.

Then there were the tools. The shovel, bucket, basket, insecticide, weed killer, pest applicator, and weed applicator. All of them could be taken outside the space. Even if she didn't fully understand their value yet, Sienna Vale knew one thing clearly.

These weren't farming tools.

These were treasures.

Most important of all was the warehouse. It was a storage space with no visible limit. In Sienna's memories, storage items existed in this world, but they were rare. Only space mages could make them, and those mages were uncommon. Even the largest storage tools could only hold a few hundred cubic meters, and that was already considered priceless.

But Sienna Vale's warehouse didn't seem to have such limits at all.

Even worse for everyone else, their storage items couldn't hold living things.

This one could.

Sienna Vale's lips curled.

"If the emperor knew I had this… he'd probably send ten armies after me."
