Having the appearance of an old lady wearing glasses, her skin is wrinkled alongside her pale white skin. I called it The librarian, an entity that guarded this library and outright slew those who broke the rules.
Its arm stretched as it pierced the greenhopper's body whole. Some of the blood splattered on me, and I silently wiped it as I regained my composure to understand the situation.
The librarian saved me from being attacked by the greenhopper, which I would never have thought she would do. I gulped as soon I realized the librarian had gotten up from her chair and walked towards me.
We exchange glances for a second, the only way I can react to her is to smile, out of nervousness. The librarian averted her eyes, and went to stretch her hands as she took a mop from where she's standing and mop the floor. Cleaning off the green blood splattered on the floor and some on the wall.
With a sweat flowing down my body, I continued with my silent step, took a few books, and went to sit at my usual reading spot.
Library of Wisdom, its other name, Wishiome, the place holds a hundred thousand pieces of knowledge.
Language, fiction, history, science, math, you say it. This place is the only place that holds my answer to my question…
(Where am I?)
The answer is the Wishiome, but the exact answer is The Land of The Holy One, Wanth.
It's one of the Major Land or planet in other word is called Zearos.
In Zeauro, there lies "Nine Major Lands."
Nine Major Races.
Nine Major Colors.
Each race has its own color of its own part of self, such as skin or hair, which tells their race, but I have none. A light brown skin and black hair, which were not part of the race. This led me to believe that I wasn't born here. But somewhere, far, far away.
First Major Land I told you before, Wanth, is the Land of The Holy One. The race that resides in this land is called Warusila; they have pale white skin which they consider pure.
They hold firm beliefs against their god. The Purest One…
Their way of living is said to be the noblest of all of the Nine major races. But I've yet to see it in person so I don't have anything to say about that.
When I first saw this, I had my doubts. But then my memory of the corpse dam came into my mind. At first, I didn't think much about the pale white skin they held. But I've confirmed it's the corpse of Warusila's race.
Cannibalism is said to be eating the flesh of one's own race, but I'm a human, eating the other race's flesh, isn't considered cannibalism, right?
Onto the next major lands, we have The Land of Nature, Turth. Which resided by the Turith. Whose own the green color
They're the race considered to be part of the earth, trees, and any natural disaster. And consider the very nature itself is their creator.
The third Major land, The Land of the Desert, Trinth, is inhabited by the Pel'kiur race whose own color of brown.
Their race is recorded to be sleeping inside the sand, instead of building a shelter or home. They consider sleeping inside the sand will help them get closer to their god. The Hardship One
The fourth Major land, The Land of Mountains, Foulris, resided by the Fuarrifan race that holds the color grey. The same color of the stone and the mountain.
The Fuarrifan is said to be born with immense physical prowess, the Fuarrifan likes a challenge, which is why they climb mountain after mountain every day as part of their routine. There's another record saying the Fuarrifan believe staying in the high place will get them closer to the God of Challenge. The Peak…
But that sentimental belief doesn't prove much, since there's another race that lives in a higher place than them. The Land of The Sky, Faigos. Resided by their natural born race, Logota, and own the color of the Yellow.
The history says that they wished to explore the whole world, thus their race invented the airplane that helped them to fulfill their own ambition.
They're said to be chained and trampled by the other race in the past. But one of them stood up and liberated the whole race, thus reclaiming the whole sky itself. The records didn't mention about their belief, but there's one testimony saying "We only believe in the freedom."
The next Major land is The Land of The Sea, Sixri. Living by the race called Zawaruka who owns the color Blue. The Zawaruka were said to be living inside the sea, alongside the fish and any water organisms. The records also said about the great creatures who rule the whole sea, which the Zawaruka consider to be their god.
There's a Zawaruka who lives in a land like an island, but I don't know much about it now.
Then next to their neighbor, The Land of The Snow, Severenity. Land full of everything but snow and earth. Residing but its resident, Portisna, owned the color cyan. The history referring to the Portisny didn't actually exist before, that's until the great war broke out in Maos 500 years ago.
The aftereffects of the war were too great; they broke the whole atmosphere and changed the weather of that land. It was confirmed that one can die from frostbite 1 hour after entering the snowland. Thus Maos government took this opportunity to use the snowland as a banishment place for the prisoners who committed the crime.
But it's actually a cover to get rid of those who didn't follow their principles, so even the innocent got banished as well. That's it until one man survived inside the Portisny and created a Portisna race of his own.
He's considered a hero as he went to help the other banishment and grew the race large enough for them to fight against Ea'it. And I don't know the rest of the story, feels like straight out of a fictional novel but it's interesting to see more of it. Sadly there's no other record of that.
And the Portisny believes in the snowland itself as it was the one who released them from Ea'it's unfair rules.
Now to Portisny's nemesis, The Land of The Magma, Ea'it. Resided by the Mamos race, who were identified by the color red.
The same as Fuarrifan, the Ea'itis are said to be on par in terms of their physical prowess. As the book recorded, the Maos were governed by a cruel and wicked tyrant. Half of Ea'it decides to follow him, but the other half is cowering from fear.
The Ea'it worship the Strongest One, but because of the tyrant, they are forced to worship him instead. The history also says Wanth, Turth, and Severenity didn't like the way the Tyrant ruled over Maos, and are working together to beat the Tyrant once and for all.
Now mentioning the nemesis, Marusa has one too. It's The Land of The Darkness, Nain. Were said to be governed by the KoirVod race, who owned the color black. Because of the weird principle they hold, the Marusa consider them filthy and need to be purged immediately.
(One with the darkness, we hold no remorse against beyond that. Devour each and every one of them, to wake the very void itself.)
Yep, they made a ritual and ate their own race. The record says their main purpose is to send the whole world into the darkness, changing everything into nothing but black.
Seeing this, I don't know if the KoirVod is the one who changed the world into its current state right now.
That's all for the Nine Major Land for now but…
Apparently there's been a rumor of the tenth land.
The Land of Unknown, it's what they've been called. I don't know much about them, but apparently, the land didn't exist. This record was created by one of the Logota who were exploring the world. His testimony was that he found a beautiful and unrealistic land beyond this world.
Other than that, it has been said it was governed by an unknown race with an unknown technology. Having advanced technology compared to this world. There's also another testimony from other people, but it wasn't anything but a glimpse, they say…
…
I finished about 20 books for today; some of the knowledge may have come to my favor at some point, and some might be useless. I have no say in this…
As I looked at the cover of the book made of animal skin, I suddenly shivered when the wind blew on my neck.
No, it was a breath. Straight from the librarian, stretching her neck from where she's standing, and looking me straight in my eyes, straight in my soul.
