Everyone watched as the scales tipped to Rimuru's side and Clayman watched as everyone seemed to watch approvingly as Claymans was about to go mad.
"Well, WELL, show the clip of Rimuru's forces wiping out my army!" Clayman's voice erupted in rage and disbelief.
"Your wish is my command Clayman." I spoke in a smug voice that everyone caught, a smugness that made Clayman feel some premonition of danger.
The scale showed another projection, one of a meteorite crashing down and destroying the army that had tried to destroy the remaining citizens of Eurazania.
From the wreckage came a white haired man with a flaming greatsword. He looked to the sky and jumped, he's body being engulfed in fire and ice and shooting off into the sky and then into a portal.
The clip then changed to the city of the forgotten dragon. The clip was of the sky being covered in floating swords that flew down and skewered the forces on the ground.
What everyone noticed though was that the only ones being skewered was the forces of Clayman's army.
The clip then changed back to a portal opening up Infront of the palace, Infront of Middray and Yamza.
Out from the portal came the white haired man that they have just seen before. The man challenged Yamza without a second thought and suspended Middray in place, preventing him from fighting.
Then the clip ended there.
"See everyone, that was Rimuru's forces that eradicated my own!" Clayman desperately trying to turn everyone against him assumed that Kevin and the barriage of swords was Rimuru's influence.
But no one spoke up for him, infact the scales didn't move either. Clayman looked around frantically, "Hey Simon, Why the hell didn't the scales move?! Aren't you the ones controlling it!? Move the damn thing?!"
Simon: "Firstly, would Rimuru like to claim that they are Rimuru's forces?"
Rimuru: "I can confirm that those aren't my forces."
"LIES! YOU SPEAK NOTHING BUT LIES!" Clayman shouted, as if he had been wronged.
Suddenly Dino raised his hand, "I believe I can answer this. The white haired man is Kevin and the rain of swords was the cause of the weapon known as the Kingslayer, the weapon of Yuura."
"…Yes, both being surbordinates of Simon and NOT Rimuru." Guy followed up on Dino's confirmation.
This left Clayman stunned and furious, he looked up at the fog covered sky in indignation, " YOU! Come down here and face your punishment!"
In response, the sound of a wooden gavel Echoed from the fog, "Order, order in the court! Demon lord Clayman, please conduct yourself properly. It is incredibly rude to accuse the judge of deserving punishment."
Guy, Roy and his attendant Luminousall struggled to hold in a laugh. Clayman was utterly livid by this, 'He dares treat me like a joke?'
" By the way Clayman, I'm not the one controlling the scales." I said in a calm voice.
Clayman: " What… but your the one who created the scales!"
"Yes but it's not the judges job to control the verdict, I am only an impartial referee meant to manage the trial proceedings and resolve legal disputes. The decider of the verdict is the Jury."
"Wait, the Jury, you don't mean…" Clayman then looked at the faces around him watching the trial.
Simon: "That's right Clayman, this scale is connected to the emotions of the eight demon lords watching this. The reason it didn't move is because no one believes you."
Rimuru, who had been watching the comedy show on Claymans face in silence, decided to speak up, " Now Clayman, If you don't have any more evidence to showcase then I think that you should be prepared for the verdict."
Clayman: " No wait this is can't be!"
" Hold on a minute, there is another way for you to skip the verdict and walk away a free man Clayman." I said in a feigned rushed voice.
Clayman: "There is?"
"Yes, if you appeal for trial by combat and win then you can walk away a free demon lord while getting rid of the thorn in your side that you believe wronged you."
Suddenly, Claymans panicked face twisted and contorted into a cunning smile, " Well then, I appeal for trial by combat. Oh and by the way, it's ok if another demon lord joins me in battle, correct?"
Hearing this, my figure hidden behind the fog revealed an amused smile, " If the individual chooses to join you in battle then it shouldn't be a problem."
" Well then…" Clayman turned to his right and theatrically extended his hand out, "…Milim, join me in battle."
Like a robot devoid of choice, Milim stood up and walked to his side. The space grew bigger and the scales disappeared, transforming the courtroom into an arena.
Rimuru's two attendants, Shion and Ranga, readied themselves for battle. The little fox Ninehead grew bigger and two of her tails came off and transformed into two individual cryptids.
Ranga responded in kind by growing bigger and summoning two tempest wolves from his shadow.
Clayman summoned a mechanical mage to fight for him which Shion readied herself against.
Suddenly a barrier was erected around the competitors, separating them from the rest of the spectators.
Rimuru side eyed the two attendants of Ramiris, being Beretta and Gabriel, and regretted not calling on Beretta for help, 'Simon said I should fight Milim for a little bit for practice. You better repay me for the emotional damage I'm about to suffer.'
'You're being a giant baby, you'll be fine, and if it gets too dicey for you then you can trust that I'll intervene. Not to mention I doubt that Milim would actually kill you.'
'Uh, Get out of my head, how the hell can you still hear me?!'
'… You left thought communication on. You can blame me for many things but this one is on you.'
'ah… haha, nevermind. Raphael! Set thought communication to max and focus all parallel processing on deciphering Milim's moves and how to counter them.'
{Thought communication set to max. Focusing all processing power to target Milim Nava}
As Raphael's command integrated, Milim and Rimuru charged at each other.
