Chapter 274 - Chapter 274: The Potion Secretly Slipped into Her Hand

The sight of Amanda and Hermione kissing stopped Ron, who had originally intended to check their report cards.

Both he and Harry very sensibly took a step back, even turning their heads away.

Only when the soft sound of lips intertwining disappeared did Ron dare to turn his head back and slowly open his eyes.

Then he saw Amanda nestled in Hermione's arms, her face flushed and her lips slightly swollen.

Walking cautiously forward, Ron picked up Amanda and Hermione's report cards and glanced at them. Harry couldn't help but lean in curiously to look, and Ginny also quietly walked over to stand beside them.

Then the three of them saw one report card full of 'Outstanding' marks, and another with all 'Outstanding' marks except for one 'Exceeds Expectations'.

Ron chuckled with an 'I knew it' expression, looking at Hermione, "Are you nervous now, Hermione? Nine Outstandings, one Exceeds Expectations."

"Not anymore," Hermione said, shrugging her shoulders while holding Amanda.

Amanda, nestled in Hermione's arms, looked up at her and gently pinched her cheek.

Smiling, Hermione opened her mouth and gently bit Amanda's mischievous finger.

"Hermione, it's time to go to work," Amanda said softly.

"Okay, let's go."

Hermione released her bite, let go of Amanda, and stood up, walking towards the fireplace. After two bursts of green flames, both disappeared simultaneously.

Only Harry and the other two were left standing there, covering their mouths.

A toothache. Ron and Harry exchanged a bitter look; they still couldn't escape it.

After handling Wizarding World matters in the morning, Hermione went directly to the prime minister's office via the Floo Network in the afternoon, issuing an ultimatum to M Country and the other countries of OM.

At the same time, she notified the operators of the peace-class sky continent, "If M Country and the others haven't completed what they're supposed to do by nine tomorrow morning, launch the secondary cannon directly. Have it orbit the Earth once, and then fire into the sea."

Orbiting the Earth once was to make all those countries, including M Country, understand that if she wanted to, she could hit any one of them.

So, it's better for everyone to coexist peacefully and stably for mutual benefit.

Don't always think about who bullies whom, or who gets to lord over whom. She doesn't like it.

During dinner at The Burrow that evening, Mrs. Weasley told everyone about going to Diagon Alley together tomorrow.

"Arthur and Hermione both have the day off tomorrow," she said, serving stew to everyone, "so we can all go together."

Amanda pondered for a moment, then turned to Hermione, "Should Harry use the Floo Network? It might be a bit unsafe."

If it were Voldemort, Amanda thought he might indeed use magic to interfere with the Floo Network, making Harry end up in some unknown fireplace.

"It's definitely not safe," Hermione nodded. "Then let the Ministry of Magic send a car to pick us up."

"As for security..."

"No extra security is needed," Amanda shook her head, taking a large bite of stew. "I'm here."

"Mm, with you here, we're at ease," Hermione said with a smile, reaching out to ruffle Amanda's hair.

No amount of security could compare to Amanda's effectiveness; even the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic wholeheartedly agreed with this.

After all, in so many training sessions, even when they gathered together, Amanda still defeated them effortlessly, as if she were playing with them.

One Wizard facing so many Wizards—even Voldemort would break a sweat, but Amanda didn't at all.

This made the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic begin to doubt themselves.

If it weren't for the fact that it was getting easier for them to fight Death Eaters, they would have thought their strength hadn't improved at all, but had actually regressed.

The next day, after breakfast, Amanda followed Hermione downstairs. At the entrance of The Burrow, they saw not only the Ministry of Magic's black sedan but also military green armored vehicles behind them, with large-caliber machine guns mounted on their tops.

"We didn't ask the Muggle World to send security, did we?" Hermione asked Amanda, turning her head as she looked at the armored vehicles that almost formed a convoy.

"No, we didn't," Amanda shrugged, "but Hermione's itinerary needs to be communicated to them in advance. Perhaps they thought if the Wizarding World sent people and the Muggle World didn't, it would look like the Muggle World didn't value Hermione."

"So they sent people too."

"Alright," Hermione replied softly, "I'll go express our gratitude."

Hermione walked over to thank the soldiers, while Amanda led Harry and the others into the car.

Even after getting into the car, Harry and Ron still hadn't recovered from the shock of seeing the armored vehicles.

"I've only ever seen them on television; today I actually saw real ones."

Harry shook his head to clear it, then excitedly turned back to look at the armored vehicles.

Amanda and Ginny sat on the other side of the back seat, watching this scene and couldn't help but laugh together.

"Sure enough, boys are interested in these things," Amanda whispered to Ginny.

Ginny nodded approvingly, "Exactly. Even growing up in the Wizarding World, look at Ron, his eyes are glazed over."

She said, pointing to Ron, whose eyes were sparkling as he looked at the armored vehicles behind them.

"Boys will be boys, it's understandable." Hermione opened the car door, sat in, pulled Amanda into her arms, and closed the door.

The magically enhanced sedan's back seat didn't feel crowded at all with five people, but rather quite spacious.

When Ron saw Hermione get in, he turned around, looking somewhat excited as he faced her.

"Hermione, can I drive one of those cars?"

"What?" Hermione was momentarily stunned. Sitting in the slowly starting Ministry of Magic black sedan, she pointed back at the convoy of armored vehicles following closely behind.

"An armored vehicle? Yes, you can, as long as you join the Muggle army and successfully become an armored vehicle driver."

"Oh, never mind then," Ron shook his head; that sounded very difficult.

"You give up so fast," Hermione said, her mouth twitching slightly, mercilessly teasing him.

"Actually, it's not impossible," Amanda mused, playing with Hermione's brown hair and leaning into her ear, "You could get him a version without weapons for Ron's birthday."

"Just tell him not to drive it on the road."

Anyway, most of the UK army's armored vehicles are now manufactured by her factories, so whether to install something or not is just a word from her.

Hermione clicked her tongue and said, "Alright, then. When he comes of age next year, it can be his coming-of-age gift."

With just a few words, the two girls decided on Ron's coming-of-age gift. As for Harry's coming-of-age gift... Amanda had already prepared something.

The black sedan stopped outside the Leaky Cauldron. After getting out, the group collectively stared at the Leaky Cauldron in surprise.

Amanda, Hermione, and Mr. Weasley turned to look at the others, smiling.

"Surprised, aren't you?" Mr. Weasley said, putting an arm around his wife's waist.

"Yes, surprised," Mrs. Weasley murmured, looking at the completely revamped Leaky Cauldron with its unusually attractive sign that explicitly stated 'Wizarding World Diagon Alley Entrance.' "It's completely different from the old Leaky Cauldron."

"This was Amanda's idea," Hermione said softly beside her, adding that it was something she wholeheartedly approved of.

"The integration of the Wizarding World and the Muggle World must be pushed forward step by step," Amanda said, looking up at the sign above. "First, let the entrance to the Wizarding World appear to pique everyone's interest."

"Once Voldemort is completely dead and the Death Eaters are entirely dismantled, the Muggle World's anticipation for places like Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade will have reached its peak. Opening these places then will definitely further boost the economy."

After a brief explanation, Amanda and everyone else walked into the newly renovated Leaky Cauldron and entered Diagon Alley through the passage behind.

Looking at the still bustling Diagon Alley and listening to the sounds coming from various shops, Mrs. Weasley remarked with emotion.

"How lively it is, completely different from a decade ago. Everyone now acts as if You-Know-Who and the Death Eaters don't exist."

Newspapers weren't reporting disappearances or murders, and Diagon Alley was still as lively as ever.

Voldemort's resurrection seemed to have had no impact on the Wizarding World whatsoever.

"The impact Voldemort could cause should have been extremely limited to begin with," Amanda shook her head. "Their attacks were the most basic, least effective kind. The reason they caused such severe impact before was simply because the Ministry of Magic was too incompetent."

With so many Aurors and so many departments under its command, holding such a huge advantage, yet being forced by Voldemort and the Death Eaters to lose control of the Wizarding World, it could only be said that the former Ministry of Magic was too powerless and too weak.

"Yes, so it's all thanks to you two children," Mrs. Weasley said, beaming and patting Amanda and Hermione on the back.

"It's the credit of all Ministry of Magic staff and everyone in the Wizarding World who opposed Voldemort," Hermione said with a light chuckle.

The group walked purposefully towards Fred and George's shop. Along the way, many people couldn't help but stop to look at Amanda and Hermione.

The two of them were now the hottest 'celebrities' in the Wizarding World, but fortunately, everyone still knew that they were just Young Wizards.

They were already very busy with work, so they shouldn't be disturbed while shopping in Diagon Alley during their holiday.

Arriving outside Fred and George's shop, Mrs. Weasley looked at the huge banner on the shop's exterior wall, which constantly changed colors, and the smile on her face slowly disappeared.

Are you worried about You-Know-Who? You shouldn't worry about You-Know-Who, you should worry more about Constipation-Who! The feeling of constipation torments us~

"Constipation-Who? Merlin's plunger, those two are going to be assassinated in their beds."

"Pfft, no, Mum," Ron burst out laughing, quickly raising his hand to cover his mouth. "Isn't Diagon Alley's security excellent? Aurors patrol twenty-four hours a day."

"And these houses have all been rebuilt with the latest magical concrete and magical doors. As long as they don't go out, even Voldemort himself couldn't do anything to them."

"Mrs. Weasley, you can rest assured," Amanda added from the side, a smile also playing on her lips.

The banner Fred and George had made almost made her laugh.

They really knew how to liven up the atmosphere and bring joy to everyone.

They even made people feel that no matter how tense the environment, with them around, everyone could still smile.

What's more, the current environment wasn't tense. The joy Fred and George provided completely dispelled even the slightest hint of oppression brought by Voldemort.

Walking into Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, Fred and George, who had been waiting not far from the entrance, quickly walked over.

"Welcome."

"You grace us with your presence."

Mrs. Weasley looked at her two sons, who were neatly dressed and exuded the aura of successful businessmen, and nodded proudly. However, what came out of her mouth was still,

"School's starting soon. Have you two finished your homework?"

"Of course, Mum," Fred said, putting an arm around his mother's shoulder and winking at George, signaling him to take Amanda and Hermione to browse. "How could we forget our homework?"

"Come on, come on, I'll show you and Mum around. Don't remind us of homework the moment we arrive!"

After saying that, Fred pulled his mother and father to browse the nearby shelves. As for Harry, Ron, and Ginny? They had already gone off to explore on their own.

"Come on, you two young ladies, we have many products here that are perfect for you."

"And there are some products we'd like to ask you, Amanda, to take a look at."

"Hmm? Sure," Amanda nodded without hesitation, and then George led her to a shelf.

"This is our self-researched Anti-Curse Hat," George said, taking down a hat and handing it to Amanda. "Unlike your protective badge, our Anti-Curse Hat is positioned as a prank product."

"It's for using other people's curses to prank them, you know, spells like Densaugeo."

"But what has always troubled us," George said, winking at Hermione, signaling her to remain silent and follow him, Hermione raised an eyebrow and subtly stepped back with George, "is how to make its effect last longer. I wonder if you have any good suggestions."

Amanda nodded at George's words, "Let me see."

She said, raising the Anti-Curse Hat in her hand and examining it carefully. The various spells used on it, the details that could be modified, and the spells required for modification, all appeared in her mind one after another.

Meanwhile, George swiftly pulled a small bottle from his pocket and handed it to Hermione.

"Here, we specially prepared this for two Witches in love. Just rub it on your fingers, and it can increase, well, the sensation? You know what I mean, right?"

"I understand," Hermione said, glancing at Amanda and quickly tucking the small bottle into her wizard robe pocket. "Thank you. This product will definitely be a big seller. How much is it?"

"It's free," George shook his head, grinning as he nudged Hermione towards Amanda. "Our shop was started with Amanda's help. How could we possibly charge you? Don't make it difficult for us."

"Alright," Hermione said softly.

Amanda, completely oblivious, turned around, holding up the Anti-Curse Hat, and began to explain her ideas for improvement.
