John took out a badge, one that Nikolas gave him. The badge was formed entirely of blue codes, telling John how special this item was.
"Get behind me," he did as Nikolas instructed him, raised the badge high in the air, while Ben and Elena walked behind him in a line.
The moment the badge got in touch with the barrier, the dome flickered and didn't stop John or his friends. The interior was spacious, yet it was a bit different from how it looked from the outside.
There was no garden at all!
The garden was replaced by lots of towers, defensive weapons atop, and even net throwers and arrow launchers. The entire building was a fortress, and John and his friends realised now why this place wasn't touched during the ongoing war, and why Nikolas advised them to get inside.
"There is a problem," Elena looked at everything, "the barrier seems to add an illusion feature, or some sort of concealment. These defences don't appear from outside, only a garden that doesn't exist."
