"What are you really thinking about, Flint?" Alfonso asked, quietly enjoying his meal.

A heavy sigh escaped his lips. "I wanted to ask Ellen to have lunch with me, but she immediately turned me down."
Alfonso nearly coughed as he choked on the CEO's words. "Did I hear that right? Ellen turned you down?"
