He returned to the storage room and locked the door. That was the first monster whose rarity showed uncommon.
It stats were more than twice that of an average human. He wasn't sure if that meant it was twice as strong as humans or more.
However he doubted that was the case, the common imps had more than two times the strength of a normal human
It was able to flung him across the room with a single slap. Akaris was a big guy, even the heavy lifters in the world would struggle to do that to him with one hand.
And those imps had a strength stats of about 15 to 17. He wondered how much stronger the imp warrior was then.
' Wait.' he was thinking about it wrong, there were more creatures to compare to them to than just humans.
" System, do you know the avarage stats of every creature that lived on Karon?" The system was quiet.
( Information involving the living organisms of Karon exist within my database." He couldn't help but grin.
" What's the avarage speed stats of a leopard?" He asked, leopards were known to be around 1.5 times the speed of an avarage human.
He rounded it two times to be safe. ( The agility stats of a leopard is around 15 to 16 on avarage) The answer made him open his eyes wide.
That thing was much faster than a leopard, he asked another question comparing it strength to that of a gorilla.
Gorilla's had about the strength stat of around 18. It was faster than a leopard and stronger than a gorilla.
There was no way he could win as he was, he realised even the weaker imps were almost as strong and fast as those two animals.
No wonder it could throw him across the room so easily. The only reason he won was because of his better martial arts and perception.
However he couldn't assume the same for the imp warrior. Since it was carrying a sword it should have a bit of combat experience at least.
He will need to grow stronger to face it. He checked his status first.

His progress was getting slower, both in leveling up himself and his skill but it was the first day so he didn't place much importance into it.
He rested and woke up later, he had no idea how much time had passed. He took his bow, quiver and axe and went downstairs.
He was going to use the abyss spawns downstairs to level up. The passage was empty with only the corpses of the ones he killed earlier.
He stood next to the first door and listened inside. With his high perception, all of his senses were enhanced.
He could hear two footsteps scurrying around. He kicked open the door with his bow already pulled.
The imp was caught off guard, before it could cry out to it partner he put an arrow through it skull.
He heard it partner running from the other room, ' Fast.' he was right these things were really fast.
However his archery was at level 9, not only was he more accurate he was also a fast drawer and didn't need long to aim.
He pulled another and nocked it quickly, the imp appeared through a bedroom door and jumped at him.
It jumped over the sofa as if it was flying, he shot the arrow through it head then dodged to the side.
It crashed on the TV, he kicked it and figured it was dead. ( Killed level 7 imp, experience gained. Killed level 6 imp, experience gained.)
He searched through the house and saw the remains of it owners. Two corpses, not even complete corpses.
A mother and a child as it seemed, he wanted to be angry, to hate the creatures that did this but he couldn't.
He felt nothing, it was only the first day and he already feels nothing towards death. " What is wrong with me?"
He asked but no answer came. He grew angry but not at the imps, he grew angry at himself for abandoning his humanity so easily.
" Why can't I care?" It was starting to stress him out. He searched through the house for anything.
He found photos, a beautiful woman with a little girl in her arms. He thought seeing their pictures would make him care.
That he would be saddened by their deaths but instead something inside him told him they were lucky.
That it was better for them to be released from their misery early on. He shook his head and left.
He knew something was wrong, that he was changing but he had no idea how to fix it. It was not like he can turn his feelings on and off at will.
He searched for food in the kitchen. After eating, he went to the next room. There he repeated the same thing.
He avoided only those rooms that had more creatures inside, especially those that had soul screechers.
He still remembered how painful their agonizing screams were. After he was done with that floor he went to the next.
He found two imps standing on the stairs, he shot both of them with arrows in under two seconds.
" I'm getting faster." He whispered to himself. During this entire time he had been using hawk eyes.
It was now very close to reaching level seven. He reached the floor below, he peaked around the corner and looked at the passage.
He saw 12 imps, the doors to the houses were open. He took a deep breath and counted his arrows.
He had 15 arrows. He would need to be fast and not let them get close. He might even need to use future sight but last time he did that he lost consciousness for what felt like hours.
