"Yeah, there was someone else before you. But she wasn't picked like the way you were." Amy said to me.
With every word, I felt like I was about to crumble into a pile of dust, while she was only getting more confident to talk about her.
"I need all the detai...." I didn't get to finish my statement when I noticed that as Elena was talking to the elders, Serenya was looking past her and towards the balcony that I was on.
She had stopped talking and wasn't saying anything, but the moment our eyes locked, there was enough said in the silence.
Just when I thought it couldn't get more dramatic, Elena slowly turned around and raised her eyes to where I was.
She stared for a couple of seconds, and I wondered what could be going on in her head.
I was tempted to wave,but the disappointed look on her face told me that I wouldn't a wave in return.
