Yeongjae's POV
The drive to Sora's house felt longer than it should have.
No one spoke.
The silence inside the car was thick, suffocating, filled with everything none of us knew how to say.
Sora sat in the passenger seat again, staring out the window the entire time. The city lights passed across her face in flickers—gold, white, then darkness again.
Her eyes looked hollow.
When we finally pulled up in front of her house, she didn't move right away.
Her hands rested loosely on her lap now, as if the strength had drained from them.
"Get some rest. Yeongjae and I will stop by my penthouse," Jiho said gently from the backseat.
She nodded slowly.
But before she stepped out, she turned to me.
For a second, I thought she might say something.
Instead, she just gave a small, tired smile.
"Drive safely."
Then she got out of the car.
I watched her walk toward the entrance to the residential apartments.
She paused for a moment before locking the door.
