"This way, hehe!" the red fairy called out.
(I don't know if I can trust her. She claims she and that armored man came to help, but Starwoman attacked first.)
Bunnygirl hopped fast.
The fairy's not exactly speedy, so she slows down a few times. Bunnygirl is known for her speed and agility.
"Oh noooo, this isn't good," the fairy mutters, glowing mid-air before halting mid-flight.
"What is it?" She asked. "Please don't explode or something."
"Rhenvar's transforming. Probably lost control. Hey, are you guys magical?" She twirls.
"Magic? Like from movies? No. Our powers come from our willpower."
"Oh… that explains why you all smell so good."
(Smells so good? What does that even mean?)
(No time. I need to stop Starwoman. I get why she attacked but it wasn't him that killed Blue Zipper. It was-)
She grabbed her chest.
(I can't… breathe.)
The memory flashes. Blue Zipper's body twisting. His scream. His-
"Boop."
(Did… the fairy just poke me?)
"Look, I'm getting kinda sick of everyone getting all traumatized. You said you were heroes, right? Then act like it."
Bunnygirl blinked.
(If I just keep moving… maybe the memory won't catch me.)
"Ok little fairy."
"It's Viir." She said her voice playful.

Central District, Super City.
Starwoman's down when they arrived. Slammed into the ground. Ultimateman's trading blows with-
"Is that… a dragon?" Bunnygirl said in shock.
(That's why she asked about magic. No. Stop. Don't think.)
"Yuppers! That's Rhenvar," Viir chirps. "He's holding back his transformation, so he's still small. I'll stop the fight!"
She darts over.
Ultimateman was trying to move from dragon's grips but Rhenvar was eating him, consuming him. Feeding on him like he was a carcass-
Viir let out a scream. Not just a noise. A feeling. A feeling of dread.
Her body froze. Like she was watching from behind her own eyes.
(I- I'm… scared.)
The dragon does not react right. It watches the fairy. She drops onto its head yelling and punches it.
Ultimateman hesitates.
The dragon's skin begins to melt, collapsing into red blood colored goo.
And from that mess, the armored man rises from it.
She was still scared.
But she hopped over anyway.
"Uh. My bad." The man's voice is casual. "I thought I could control it like last time."
"You dummy," the fairy scolds from his head. "There are strong souls here. It's even hard for me not to eat them. You have to be careful."
Ultimateman lands. Arms crossed. Classic pose. He's the hero of justice, he won't attack unless there's a threat.
"You. Why were you fighting Starwoman?" Ulitmateman asks the the eater.
"Pfft, she hit me first," Rhenvar said, now sitting cross-legged. "You guys are the good guys, right? I'm here to help."
Ultimateman turns to Bunnygirl. "You were with her. What happened?"
Bunnygirl explains: the white fire, his arrival, how he said he wasn't our enemy and how Starwoman blasted him.
Ultimateman listened.
Then he sighed. "I apologize. We're on edge."
"I get it. So am I," the black armored man says. "And Viir here too. Which reminds me, Viir, this place… it's rich. Tasty. You should head home."
He grabs the fairy gently.
"Aww man, but this was gonna be a fun one!" She shouted.
"Yes, but if I feel like feeding, you'll rampage if you get a taste. And this mission matters."
Viir pouts. "Call me when the crow girl shows up."
"I will."
She vanishes in a red light.
"So, you're searching for her too," Ultimateman says. "What's your name?"
The man rises. "They call me Rhenvar."
"He's dangerous…" Starwoman says, limping up.
"I am!" Rhenvar says brightly. "But I'm your best shot at saving this world."
He gave them a thumbs up.
"Pardon?" Bunnygirl blurted.
(Save the world? That's the Super Squad's thing.)
"We defeated Calamity," Ultimateman says, tense. "What other world ender could there be?"
"Okay, so that sexy crow chick? She's part of a team. One of them is this piece of shit with a book, Aucteros and the other is-"
"What- no!" Ultimateman's eyes widened. He clenched his head. "M- MIND!"
Then he bolts. Through buildings. Through steel. A streak of fury.
"What is he doing?!" Starwoman shouted and flies after him.
"What's happening?!" Bunnygirl dropped to her knees, panic rising. "Why did Ultimateman go crazy-"
She turned to Rhenvar but he was gone. Vanished.
Then-
"Gods above, would you look at that… a half beast of some kind?" a voice says behind her.
A man with red hair approaches, smile too wide.
"Who are you?" She gasped.
"I'm the second prince, Charles. And you're going to be my slave."
Her head throbs. Her mind doesn't belong to her anymore.
(This is the worst day of my life.)
