Zoe Pierce listened to Aaron Xavier nagging like a fussy old man, forbidding one thing after another.
She wasn't drunk, and hearing his words only made her feel indignant.
How could he say something like that in front of so many people?
Aaron Xavier looked at Zoe Pierce's face, puffed up with anger. He moved a little closer, sounding aggrieved. "Did you hear me? I'll get really mad. You know I go crazy when I get mad."
Zoe Pierce wasn't surprised. This was just like Aaron Xavier—righteously indignant even while playing the victim.
Looking at the face leaning in close, she snorted softly, tossed the fairy stick in her hand to the ground, and asked, "How do you go crazy?"
"You think I won't go crazy right now?"
Aaron Xavier paused. The one who was always so good at acting fierce now hesitated. "How... do I go crazy?"
Zoe Pierce's hand shot out and clamped onto his face. Then, viciously, she bit down on his cheek.
Caught completely off guard, a sharp pain flared on his cheek.
