So, they settled for the next best thing: using local materials to build a simple raft. As long as it was sturdy, crossing a river over a hundred meters wide shouldn't be a problem.
That night, Yuan Si, in her role as captain, gathered the team for a meeting. This would be their first time building a raft, so materials and techniques needed to be discussed.
Yuan Si asked everyone to share their opinions. Although no one besides Yuan Si had ever built a raft before, they had all grown up playing in rivers and ponds as kids, so they each had some ideas about them.
Finally, seeing the discussion devolve into chaos and start to go off-topic, Yuan Si quickly stepped in to give them a basic lesson on rafts.
