After five bumpy days on the road, Yuan Si finally returned to the military camp within the specified time.
She put down the large and small bags she had carried over, then went to find Jiao Group Leader to report the end of her leave.
"Mm, not bad. Look at that healthy glow. It seems you ate well at home." Jiao Group Leader had been expecting this; these rascals were all due back in the next couple of days. He wasn't at all surprised to see Yuan Si, who had brought him some local specialties.
"Of course. My mom saw me and said I'd gotten thinner, so she insisted on making me delicious food." Yuan Si put on a helpless expression.
"You got the leave you asked for, so you should be satisfied. Now, when you lead the team out on this mission, try to cause me a little less trouble." Jiao Group Leader lectured her with a stern face.
