The next day, Diana Jennings contacted Jaden Forrest again.
She wanted him to provide a sample for a paternity test, so she could run another DNA analysis herself.
Once she confirmed he was the children's father, she would let Zane and Jasmine have the final say.
Jaden Forrest was very cooperative and provided the sample.
Renee Jennings went with Diana to drop off the sample at the testing center, and then went with her again to pick up the results.
Diana opened the report in the car. The results confirmed that Jaden Forrest was indeed Zane and Jasmine's father.
"Renee, it's really him." Diana turned her head to look at Renee in the driver's seat.
Renee took the report and scanned it, saying softly, "Take it easy, Diana. If you don't want him involved in your life with Zane and Jasmine, we can just pretend this never happened. I'll help you raise them."
