In the blink of an eye, summer vacation arrived right on schedule.
Renee Jennings organized a family trip, and the whole family went abroad together.
After spending over half a month traveling, they returned home to find the children's English proficiency had soared. They even started asking to watch cartoons in English and would occasionally chat with each other in the language.
Renee Jennings hadn't expected the trip to come with such an unexpected bonus.
Glenn's English scores had originally been at the bottom of his class. But after this summer vacation, he leaped into the top twenty on his first test of the new semester.
Everyone was ecstatic. On the weekend the test scores were released, Renee Jennings took him out for a celebratory dinner.
Glenn himself was thrilled, and he enthusiastically declared his ambition, "When I grow up, I want to be a diplomat."
