"Miss Hayes."
Renee Jennings saw Andrea Hayes and called out to her.
Andrea Hayes turned her head, a flicker of surprise in her eyes. She greeted her softly, "Ms. Jennings, you came too!"
"I did," Renee Jennings said, walking up to her with a faint smile. "I thought if I came with you, you might not be so nervous."
Andrea Hayes's heart filled with gratitude. Her tone was sincere. "Ms. Jennings, thank you for being so thoughtful. Seeing you here really puts me at ease."
The churning feeling of apprehension and anxiety in her heart was instantly soothed.
"In that case, don't be such a stranger. You can just call me Renee from now on," Renee Jennings said, raising an eyebrow with a smile. "And I'll call you Andrea directly, is that okay?"
Andrea Hayes replied immediately, "Of course."
"Good." The smile on Renee Jennings's lips deepened. "Let's go in, then."
"Okay!" Andrea Hayes nodded.
The two of them walked into The Orchid Court Restaurant side by side.
