The coin spun on the floor, and Jiang Zuo waited patiently.
But this coin was especially playful today, spinning quite merrily.
After waiting a while, the coin still hadn't stopped.
'I should have just tossed it in the snow,' Jiang Zuo thought.
Jiang Zuo then squatted down, watching the coin spin as he waited for it to reveal the answer.
This time, Jiang Zuo stared so intently at the coin that he lost all track of time.
Until he heard someone ask, "What are you doing?"
The person who asked had also squatted down beside him.
Jiang Zuo's realization was instantaneous. He knew right away that Su Qi wasn't in the room, because the one asking the question was Su Qi herself.
Jiang Zuo glanced at Su Qi, then at the spinning coin, at a loss for what to say.
'Today is just not my day.'
Then, Jiang Zuo said, "Seeing if it's heads or tails."
Su Qi leaned closer to Jiang Zuo. "Why the sudden interest in a coin flip?"
