Chapter 1 - The Scandal.

It's Monday morning at Wemberg High School. The campus is buzzing with life, as usual, with early birds chirping softly in the trees. However, today feels different. The usual murmurs of teenage chatter have turned into a loud and frantic buzz — gossips are flying faster than ever through the hallways.

Suddenly, the school speaker system crackles to life.

"Ms. Grey and Mr. Stallion, your immediate attention is needed in the principal's office," the principal's voice echoed with a commanding, no-nonsense tone.

Inside the principal's office, Calvin was already seated with a tense expression. A few seconds later, Tiana stormed in with frustration written all over her face.

"Now she's here," the principal said flatly, locking eyes with the two students.

"Sir, all of this is ridiculous, and why would I ever do such a thing with Calvinnn of all people?" Tiana blurted out in disgust, almost gagging on the name.

The principal's stern gaze didn't soften. "And I hope Calvin here knows exactly what we're talking about."

Calvin shifted uncomfortably in his seat. "Sir… actually, I got drunk during the excursion trip, but… I don't remember having sex or doing anything like that," he admitted, looking genuinely puzzled and distressed.

"I don't need any more of your excuses. I've heard enough. What both of you are saying doesn't add up," the principal declared coldly. "You're not just suspended for a month. You're both expelled."

Tiana gasped. Calvin sat in stunned silence. Both students stood up slowly and walked out of the office, their minds racing with confusion and disbelief.

Unbeknownst to them, Sophie had been eavesdropping behind the office door the entire time. As the door creaked open, she quickly ducked behind it, holding her breath. When they were gone, she whispered to herself with guilt in her voice, "Oh no… what have I done to my baby Calv?" Her trembling fingers pressed against her lips as she tried to think.

Meanwhile, outside the building, Calvin and Tiana walked down the hallway in tense silence.

"Calvin, please…" Tiana finally spoke, her voice cracking with frustration. "I don't know what's going on, but I need to get out of this mess. I didn't come to this school for drama — I came for a reason."

"Listen, lady," Calvin said, trying to stay calm. "I don't know what happened either… but we'll figure it out together, alright?"

Just then, Dave came marching down the hallway, clearly furious.

"Tiana, I can't believe you'd do this to us!" he shouted.

"Us? What us are you even talking about?" Tiana snapped back, her tone sharp. "I only ever saw you as a friend, nothing more!"

Dave's eyes burned with pain. "I loved you," he said, voice shaking.

Calvin stepped forward and gave Dave a light push as he moved too close to Tiana. In response, Dave delivered a hard punch to Calvin's jaw before wiping his hands and storming off down the corridor without looking back.

"What is wrong with that guy?" Calvin muttered in disbelief, rubbing his jaw before walking off in the opposite direction.

Later that day, Sophie dragged Chloe into an empty classroom, her eyes wild with panic.

"What's wrong with you?" Sophie hissed.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Chloe replied defensively. "I didn't do anything against you."

"But what if Calvin finds out?" Sophie whispered, shaking slightly. "If he learns the truth, we'll be over. I can't lose him…"

"I did what I had to do," Chloe said coldly. "And nothing more."

"This is all because of Dave, isn't it?" Sophie accused.

Chloe didn't reply. Sophie stormed off, feeling the pressure close in around her.

Meanwhile, Dave was back at home, overwhelmed and pacing around his room, thoughts racing. "Why would Tiana do this to me?" he whispered aloud, replaying everything in his head.

At that same moment, Tiana arrived back at her family's villa, visibly upset. She slammed the front door behind her and walked straight to the bathroom. Without thinking, she turned on the shower, letting the water pour over her head as her thoughts drifted to everything that had happened during their trip to Dubai — memories that haunted her even after moving to London.

At exactly 7:00 PM, Chloe called Dave in an attempt to comfort him.

"I honestly couldn't believe Tiana could do something like this," she said gently, planting seeds of doubt. As the conversation went on, she subtly tried to slide closer to Dave's heart, making it clear she was always there for him — waiting, willing.

Meanwhile, in another part of the city, Sophie sat close beside Calvin, gently stroking his arm and whispering reassurances. Still, a storm of guilt and fear brewed inside her as she wrestled with the one terrifying thought — what would happen if Calvin ever found out the truth?
