A Lonely Heart and a New Beginning,,,
It all started four years ago. I was in the hostel, preparing for my 9th and 10th grade studies. The school I attended was good academically, but my heart was restless and full of longing. Days passed quietly, with routine classes, hostel life, and the small joys of friendship. Yet, there was always a silent emptiness inside me, a yearning for care, understanding, and a sense of home.That's when Sujan Sir came into my life. He, along with another teacher, would come in the evenings from 5 to 7 PM to teach us hostel students. At first, I was nervous and shy. But gradually, their presence became comforting. Sujan Sir, in particular, was patient, encouraging, and kind a mentor and a guardian rolled into one. He understood the struggles of students like me, whose parents were absent or unable to provide constant care.
Life in the hostel was not easy. Without my father, and with my mother working tirelessly, my elder brother and I managed on our own. There were days when we barely had enough to eat. Still, I never let this overwhelm me. I learned to study diligently, care for myself and my brother, and slowly navigate the responsibilities that came my way.
Through it all, my connection with Sujan Sir grew deeper not just as a teacher, but as someone who truly understood me. He became a source of strength and guidance in a life filled with struggles, yet little happiness.
