Aren swung open the glass door, revealing the view inside the meeting room.
The room was moderately spacious, chairs placed in a row on both sides of the brown wooden meeting table in the center. In the corners were floor plants, enhancing the aesthetic of the room.
On the wall was a whiteboard along with a projector screen, both used in usual conferences.
The room was well lit, and under that lighting, two females sat on chairs on one side of the table.
One sat with crossed legs and folded hands, an arrogant and prideful expression on her beautiful face. She was Iris Valcourt, feeling it beneath her to be waiting for Lisa.
The other sat straight with a polite and professional expression, waiting calmly with a smile. She was her secretary, Shirley Fens.
As they noticed the door swinging inside, they both turned to look at Aren and Lisa.
Lisa stuck close to Aren, not even daring to look at Iris, her gaze lowered to the floor as she walked.
