Chapter 224 - filler 27

The Illogical Resurrection

The Officer's eyes flared with pure, unadulterated capitalistic fury. He aggressively racked the charging handle of his assault rifle.

"Kill the Forest Minister right now!" the Officer commanded his troops, completely abandoning the chain of command. "He is a fucking bastard! I critically need these forests for my fucking company's quarterly revenue projections! Fire at will!"

The thousands of legendary, highly trained military guards instantly raised their weapons, taking aim at the dramatically posing Forest Minister.

But suddenly, the dirt began to shift.

To the absolute shock of everyone in the cinematic clearing, Bunti violently planted his hands in the mud. With a dramatic, booming crescendo of orchestral music, the hero slowly pushed himself back up to his feet. He wasn't limping. He wasn't bleeding. He stood completely perfectly, rolling his shoulders as if a point-blank shotgun blast to the shins was nothing more than a minor mosquito bite.

Bunti looked at the Forest Minister, a deeply arrogant, highly cinematic smirk crossing his face.

"Huh," Bunti scoffed, his voice dripping with pure protagonist swagger. "Did you really think I would die with a fucking bullet?"

Bunti dramatically slapped his thighs.

"I was wearing tactical bulletproof armor on my legs!" Bunti revealed triumphantly, the camera aggressively zooming in on his firefighter trousers.

Suddenly, the epic orchestral music completely flatlined.

The screen froze mid-frame on Bunti's arrogant smirk. The deep, highly exhausted narrator's voice returned, sounding like a man who was actively on the verge of quitting his job at the recording studio.

"Wait a minute," the narrator interrupted, completely breaking the immersion for a second time. "I am literally pausing the movie right now because I am not getting this thing. How the fuck would bulletproof leg armor completely save a man from a point-blank shotgun blast? Yes, the Kevlar might stop the physical pellets from penetrating the skin, but no bulletproof armor on the planet can completely negate the sheer, unadulterated kinetic force of the impact! His tibias should be shattered into a fine, dusty powder right now! He shouldn't be standing! This is too entirely illogical. The physics are completely broken."

The narrator let out a heavy, rattling sigh of pure defeat.

"But... whatever. I am being paid by the hour. Still, let's just continue the fucking movie."

The film instantly unfroze, the orchestral music violently blasting back through the speakers as Bunti dramatically reached down to the dirt and picked up his roaring chainsaw.

The Chainsaw Heist

Bunti rolled his shoulders, his bulletproof tactical trousers squeaking as he completely ignored the massive corporate espionage revelation that had just happened right in front of him. He gripped the heavy handle of his industrial chainsaw, his eyes locked onto the ancient oak tree.

"I am going to cut down this tree now," Bunti declared, his voice deep and gritty. "And none of you can stop me from doing this."

But before Bunti could even rev the dual-exhaust engine, a random man wearing a cheap suit violently sprinted out of the bushes at the speed of a professional Olympic sprinter. It was a live news reporter, holding a microphone in one hand.

Without breaking stride, the scrawny reporter aggressively snatched the two-hundred-pound industrial chainsaw directly out of the heavily armored lumberjack's hands. The reporter sprinted fifty feet away, completely out of breath, and violently smashed the massive mechanical equipment into a jagged rock until it broke into pieces.

"You cannot cut down those trees!" the reporter gasped into his microphone, pointing heroically at the military convoy.

The epic cinematic music completely flatlined again.

"What in the actual fuck is even going on right now?" the narrator's voice aggressively broke through the audio track, entirely exasperated. "A scrawny, underpaid journalist in a cheap suit just physically overpowered a heavily armored tactical lumberjack and stole a two-hundred-pound piece of machinery? Bunti didn't even try to stop him! He just let it happen! Is there a director on this set?!"

The music violently restarted as the Officer—who was also secretly the Toothpick CEO—let out a booming, highly arrogant laugh.

"Don't worry!" the Officer yelled, completely unfazed by the property damage. "We were entirely prepared for annoying reporters like you, and fake environmentalists like this fucking Forest Minister! We brought backups! We have hundreds of chainsaws!"

The Officer snapped his fingers. A junior soldier instantly ran over, handing the Officer a brand-new, even bigger chainsaw.

"Bunti, here is another chainsaw!" the Officer commanded, throwing the heavy machinery to the lumberjack. "Grab this and cut those fucking trees right now!"

The Civilian Air Force

The reporter realized his sabotage had failed. He instantly spun around, looked directly into the camera lens of a cameraman who had also magically appeared out of nowhere, and started frantically broadcasting live.

"People of the nation! We are reporting live from this exact region!" the reporter screamed, pointing at Bunti. "The sacred forest of this nation is getting cut down by these fucking greedy industrialists! As you can see, they are about to destroy Mother Nature! Help us right now! Take to the streets!"

The cinematic edit violently smash-cut to a highly chaotic montage of normal, everyday citizens sitting in their living rooms, watching the live news broadcast.

The reaction was instantaneous.

There was no peaceful protesting. There was no writing angry letters to local representatives. In a matter of literal seconds, the entire civilian population completely lost its mind. The citizens immediately stood up from their couches, kicked open their front doors, and started pulling heavy, military-grade assault rifles out of their minivans.

The narrator's voice aggressively returned, sounding completely panicked.

"Hold on! Stop the film!" the narrator yelled, completely abandoning the script. "Why does every single civilian in this country have an ungodly amount of unregulated military firepower in their personal vehicles?! Oh my god, they are getting into their cars! They are marching to the forest!"

The screen erupted into absolute, apocalyptic chaos.

Thousands of civilian sedans, pickup trucks, and minivans aggressively swarmed the forest clearing, driving at absolute top speed. But they didn't even attempt to hit the brakes. Instead, these unhinged citizens turned their daily commuters into uninsured suburban torpedoes, violently yeeting their vehicles head-on into the armored federal police cruisers just to stop the deforestation. It was an absolute, unregulated warzone. Normal, everyday people wearing shorts, polo shirts, and slippers were aggressively firing heavy, military-grade weapons at the fully armored central police force, and the cops were completely unable to calm the situation down.

Then, a deafening, sonic boom shattered the sky.

FWOOOOOOSH!

Two sleek, supersonic R-16 fighter jets violently swooped down from the clouds, aggressively firing heavy machine guns into the tree line to suppress the corrupt military officers.

"FIGHTER JETS?!" the narrator actively shrieked over the deafening sound of the explosions, his audio peaking so hard the studio microphone physically crackled. "HOW DOES A CIVILIAN HAVE ACCESS TO A FULLY ARMED FIGHTER JET?! Did they finance an R-16 with a high-interest loan at the local Car dealership?! There is zero airspace regulation in this country! Who the fuck is flying that?! Is that a certified dental hygienist doing a tactical airstrike on federal police?! What is their premium going to look like when they call their car insurance company tomorrow?!"

The Delayed Justice

The chaotic, explosive warzone montage raged on the screen for what felt like an eternity. Civilian cars exploded, police cruisers flipped over, and supersonic jets aggressively strafed the federal guards as Bunti just stood there holding his chainsaw.

Then, the screen dramatically faded to black, stating: FIVE TO SIX HOURS LATER.

The sun was slowly setting over the smoking, violently destroyed remains of the forest clearing. The central police force had been completely routed by the angry citizens.

Finally, heavily armored transport vehicles bearing the elite seal of the "Judiciary Guards" violently screeched into the clearing. They were supposedly the ultimate authority of the law, arriving half a day late to a literal civil war.

A squad of Judiciary Guards marched straight through the burning wreckage. They completely ignored the heavily armed civilians, the burning police cars, and the fact that a random citizen had parked a fighter jet in the bushes.

They marched straight up to the Forest Minister, who was still tragically posing on the ground, and violently slapped a pair of heavy iron handcuffs onto his wrists.

"We are the Judiciary Guards!" the lead officer bellowed, aggressively yanking the Minister to his feet. "Yes! We have finally heard the people's demand! And we are legally arresting this fucking Minister!"

The Forest Minister gasped, looking around in utter confusion. "Me?! But I tried to stop them!"

"Shut up!" the Judiciary Guard screamed right in his face. "We are arresting you because you took massive bribes from the toothpick corporations! You are the mastermind of this entire bureaucratic disaster! You are now going to be detained, and you will be charged for all of your highly corrupt crimes!"

The Guard aggressively shoved the Forest Minister into the back of a heavily armored transport van. The citizens, who had just spent the last six hours committing absolute, high-treasonous acts of war against the central police force, all cheered victoriously, entirely ignoring the fact that they had caused ten times more destruction than the lumberjacks ever could have.
