Chapter 223 - The Isekai Arc ( FILLER)

The Hostile Negotiation

The King's fear suddenly flared into a brief, highly misplaced spark of insulted royal pride. His face flushed red with indignation.

"I am the sovereign ruler!" the King roared, desperately lunging toward the jeweled broadsword resting on his bedside table. "I will not be threatened by uneducated, filthy commoners! I will absolutely kill you, you fools!"

Salesh flinched at the sudden movement, but Malesh just slowly shook his head in supreme executive disappointment.

"Okay, he is being highly uncooperative and legally aggressive," Malesh noted dryly, not even bothering to raise his R-57 rifle from his hip. "Kniya, I think we need to utilize the image thing to expedite this merger."

"Way ahead of you," Kniya smirked, his eyes flashing with unregulated capitalist malice.

Before the King's trembling hand could even touch the hilt of his sword, Kniya reached into his tailored suit jacket and whipped out the glossy, hyper-realistic forged portrait. He stepped forward, his heavy shoes crunching on the spilled goblet, and aggressively shoved the photograph right in front of the King's face.

The King completely froze. His jaw unhinged in absolute, unadulterated horror as he stared at the scandalous, incredibly inappropriate, high-definition image of himself deeply entangled with a castle maid.

"As you can clearly see, King, we hold a massive PR crisis right here in our hands," Kniya stated, his voice dripping with venomous corporate leverage. "What do you logically think will happen if we distribute this highly explicit image to every single peasant in your kingdom? The market will instantly assume that their divine, holy ruler is nothing but a fucking pervert. A highly colorful, deeply lustful degenerate who completely abuses his executive authority behind closed doors."

The King began to hyperventilate, his eyes bugging out of his skull as he stared at the forged evidence. His hands shook violently.

"Where... how did you paint this so quickly?!" the King stammered, entirely unable to comprehend the deep-fake technology, his mind completely broken by the sheer realism of the blackmail. "It looks exactly like real life! Please! Do not show this to the public! It will completely destroy the crown's divine reputation and crash the royal market!"

Kniya smiled, a terrifying, highly calculated corporate smile that promised absolute ruin.

"Just do exactly one thing for us, and we promise we won't show this photo to anyone," Kniya whispered, leaning in close. "We will just destroy it."

To visually hammer his point home, Kniya snapped his fingers. A small, magical flame ignited at his fingertips. Right in front of the King's desperate, weeping eyes, Kniya set the scandalous photo on fire, watching the paper curl and blacken, letting the ashes fall onto the luxurious carpet.

The King let out a massive, heavy gasp of relief, slumping back against his headboard, completely and utterly unaware that Kniya literally had thousands of identical backup copies safely stored in a highly secure, off-site physical location out in the woods.

"The physical evidence is completely destroyed," Kniya lied with the smooth, sociopathic precision of a seasoned CEO. "All you need to do is legally grant us total autonomy over that one town. We operate entirely independently. No royal taxes, no holy vanguard, no administrative interference from you or your Dick Prince."

Malesh seamlessly stepped up right next to Kniya, ruthlessly transitioning into the financial pitch to completely close the trap on the helpless monarch.

"And let's be logically honest here, King. We have successfully audited the macroeconomic state of this region," Malesh added smoothly, adjusting his pristine white shirt and dragon-themed tie. "We know your kingdom is currently in a state of massive financial crisis. You are running a heavy deficit. If you sign over the town, we are not just taking territory. We are going to provide your crown with massive venture capital funding. A complete, unregulated corporate bailout. It is literally the absolute best financial package your failing administration is ever going to get."

The King sat slumped on the edge of his bed, his mind aggressively short-circuiting. He looked at the dead guard bleeding on his carpet, the ashes of his ruined reputation, the terrifying, futuristic R-57 rifles slung over their shoulders, and the two incredibly well-dressed billionaires aggressively offering him a bailout in the middle of the night.

He was completely outplayed, outgunned, and out-funded. The monarchy had been forcefully acquired.

After several long, highly stressful moments of internal corporate realization, the King slowly lowered his head into his hands in utter, absolute defeat, a single tear of humiliation running down his cheek.

"Fine," the King whispered, his voice completely broken and hollow. "The town is yours. I agree to your terms."

The Three-Year Anniversary of the Hostile Takeover

The camera lens clicked on with a heavy, mechanical whir. The frame adjusted, focusing on the face of a young woman.

She was the former Princess of the realm, though she no longer wore a crown. She was dressed in a pristine, immaculately tailored white dress—a stark, almost ghostly contrast to the towering, smoke-belching industrial smokestacks looming in the background. Her makeup was flawless, but her eyes were red, heavy, and completely devoid of the royal arrogance she once held.

She was holding a heavy, state-issued analog broadcast camera, her knuckles turning white from how tightly she gripped the handle. She wasn't broadcasting from a studio. She was hiding in the shadows of a massive concrete overpass, filming an underground, behind-the-scenes documentary.

She took a shaky breath, her voice trembling with a deep, soul-crushing depression as she spoke directly into the lens.

"It has been exactly three years," she whispered, her voice cracking slightly. "Three years since the sky tore open and four monsters in tailored suits fell into our world."

She paused, looking down at the pristine fabric of her dress before forcing her eyes back to the camera.

"I never thought it would come to this. I didn't think a single incident could change everything so completely. When they first arrived, we all took it lightly. We thought they were just a quirky little anomaly. A strange magical event that would pass. But that incident... it completely rewrote our existence. It changed all of our lives forever."

She slowly panned the camera away from her face, pointing it out toward the horizon.

"The world we used to live in... it was independent. It was wild, it was primitive, but it was beautiful. Now? Just look at it."

Through the lens, the once-green, majestic horizon was completely choked by a sprawling, endless industrial landscape. Massive steel factories pumped thick black smog into the sky. The air was visibly hazy, and the distant, rhythmic thud of heavy machinery echoed like a heartbeat across the valley.

"The guys who appeared from another world didn't just conquer us," she narrated, her tone dripping with bitter resentment. "They took absolutely everything. They completely annexed every single natural resource this world has to offer. They stripped the mountains, they dammed the rivers, and they paved the forests."

She lowered the camera slightly, her voice dropping to a hollow, defeated whisper.

"And my dad... my father lost his kingdom. He didn't lose it in a glorious war. He didn't lose it to a Demon Lord. He lost it because of massive, catastrophic loans he was unable to pay. They didn't send an army to depose him. They just sent the auditors, and legally repossessed the crown."

The Propaganda of the Sovereign Government

She took a deep, shuddering breath, wiping a single, stray tear from her cheek before she composed herself. She raised the camera again, this time pointing it toward the bustling, highly organized city in the distance.

"But... if you want to understand how they did it, you have to look at it from the perspective that everyone else sees. You have to look at the bright side."

She slowly panned the camera across the landscape, capturing the sheer, overwhelming scale of the development.

"Look at the roads," she said, her voice forced into a neutral, almost robotic tone of awe. "They took the muddy, broken dirt paths and replaced them with perfectly paved cobblestone streets. And beyond the city limits, they built massive, multi-lane national highways made of pure, unyielding concrete."

The camera tilted upward, capturing towering structures that defied medieval logic.

"They built massive dams to control the rivers. They laid down thousands of miles of pressurized water pipelines. They erected towering communication systems and built massive steel bridges that span across the widest gorges. They built schools. They built hospitals. They built everything."

She let the camera linger on a group of children in clean, standardized uniforms walking neatly into a massive, state-of-the-art educational facility.

"They were able to achieve so many things in such a short span of time that it is completely unbelievable. It defies all logic. And politically... they completely overthrew the monarchy. They dismantled the royal bloodline and established a democratic government. They call it the 'Sovereign Government'."

She zoomed in on a massive, pristine government building flying a new, highly corporate flag.

"They even provided the people with the right to vote for their local representatives every single year. From this point of view, everything looks absolutely perfect. The citizens now have a highly standardized, much better education system. They are provided with highly secured, stable government jobs. They have infrastructure that their ancestors could only dream of."
