It was like any other day, I was reporting for duty and driving through the forest, as there was a suspicious activity going around here
"hey, Sammy how long is it going to take I really need to go home, todays my anniversary you know."
Hearing that annoying voice i sighed
"I know but we can't just turn a blind ey-."
I was stopped mid sentence due to Danish my friend and peer.
"I know! i know! cant turn a blind eye blah blah blah blah."
This is why I hate him, he never really cares about anyone but himself, but he does rarely show concern to others that are important to him.
"looks like we arrived." I said as i got of the car.
"Finaly!." Danish said as he was enthusiastic about getting the job done
I walked in front of Danish and Danish walked behind slowly and sluggishly.
Danish broke the pleasent silent walk through the forest by saying
"why are we here again?"
"We are here because there has been a report about a par-."
"A party? Come on just how many times do we have to tell these youngsters to not party in the forest. they should be partying in there parents house and getting yelled at!"
I sigh to my self and after entering deep in the forest we arrived at what seemed to be a party...
But destroyed from what seems like an attack by a crocodile. Danish and I were a bit shaken because of two things, one we were shocked by our surroundings two there were no crocodiles in this area.
"Hey sammy you stay here and see what could have done the damage ill look for others and stay cautious."
"A-alright." Replied Sammy still a bit shaken
Danish and I were seperated but i knew Danish would be alright after all he was the lone survivor of that bear attack, but then again... nah he will be fine.
I searched the entire area and found slashes of claws and I almost vomited seeing the limbs of some humans that were slaughterd, and blood just so much blood.
I felt sick. I wanted to just leave but i knew I couldn't and so I kept looking but couldn't find any clues of what did this
"Hey Sammy! I found a survior we need to bring her to the hospital."
"R-right." I said nervously.
Danish carried from what seemed to be a women which was covered in blood into the jeep and then we drove to the hospital and while I was driving Danish said
"I shouldn't plan my aniversary party there, that place seems to be a mess."
I knew that Danish was trying comfort me even though he was comforting me in an annoying way I smiled a little to show that im fine but that didn't work because I vomited the next second but luckly Danish slapped my face so that the vomit didnt touch him and so I vomited outside the window but unluckly for Danish I hate him even more now, although I would have done the same thing.
Soon we arrived at the hospital and the lady was still alive. Her injuries were severe but not life threating well at least not now, and after waiting a while the docter came and said that she was in a coma but she would recover soon from it and so we went back in our jeep but I was a bit worried but didnt want to bother Danish but before I could even sigh Danish placed his hand on my shoulder and said
"Don't worry this won't happen again so lets go back report what we found and sleep tightly in our bed alright, because after we report this we wont be short staffed and we won't have to work all day."
"uh okay."
I guess i also like the fact that i am one of his important ones i gue-
"Also can i have ten bucks?" Danish asked
Even in my thoughts he interrupts me, I hat-
"so can I? " he asked again
"Fine, but I want to investigate more to find out her identity so drop me by the place you found her and you report to DFO adam."
I replied.
" Hey! thats not fair." Danish said in a playful voice.
"I know that you didn't get your paycheck yet and that you have no money right now because of the anniversary party and that you don't have any money to buy her a gift."
"Sammy... you are the onl-."
He tried to make me feel guilty so I would give him the money but he failed miserably
"Shut up and beg." I Said
"mi lord, please have mercy on me... this pathetic peasent requires your assistance. "
He said trying to win me over by making me laugh. Which he did successfully
"hahaha, ehm very well I shall lend you five bucks."
Replied Sammy.
"mi lord 5 bucks for a shield to survive my wifes wrath is not enough! Please reconsider"
Danish Said
"hehe, fine ill give you 20."
Said Sammy because Danish had won Sammy over
"Thanks! Sammy! Your the best!."
And so, we drove to the place where the forest party had been and in what seemed like seconds which were minutues we had arrived back at the destroyed party. I followed Danish to the place where he had found that lady and while I was there a saw i weird shaped tree. It had a hole in its middle and when I was about to look inside...
I saw two strange green glowing eyes from way behind the tree staring at me, at first I didn't even understand what was going on I was confused and then a sudden shake of fear happened, i was trembling, I was in full sweat mode, my breathing was completly disrupeted, my heart beated like crazy and I wondered whether it was excitment for whatever that was or just pure fear.
Then suddenly Danish grabbed my shoulder which made me almost let out a girlish scream but I kept it in to keep me away from a more awkward situation.
"Are you okay?"
Danish asked so I just nodded then I looked back at the direction where I saw those green eyes but it was already gone and I decided not to tell danish what I saw, so he doesn't worry even though I knew that was a bad idea because I read all kinds of storys and read many horror storys. I also thought that I would keep these thoughts to myself but I couldn't help but yell out loud what I saw but Danish just looked at me and said.
"Wow the blood you saw must have been really truamatizing and it was so traumatizing that you started hallucinating or thinking of the worst , if you want I can try to help you overcome it or find a therapist."
...seriously... he really thinks I have gone insane, I guess it can't be helped. I'll make it look like im not worried about right now but I am taking my tranquilizer with me to my cabin even though my tranquilizer can't hit ghosts but that is if it is a ghost or I have really going insane, I'll just forget about this and as for my response I'll just tell him to shut the hell up
"Shut the hell up."
Then I looked back in the weird shaped tree inside I saw a...
book...
a book?...
a book!
I love books and the the storys it contains. Maybye its just a science book that one of the kids brought but why would they bring it to a party.
"Sammy!" He said in a harsh and troubled voice
"What?"
What... whats going on why is Danish pushing me away. Why is danish bleeding why is there...
A green-eyed tree!, what is that thing!
there was really nothing to describe it was a tree with green eyes it was atleast 35 feet tall, it had a mouth that seemed to be able to open 90° and it was very dark like an oak tree.
"Danish!" Sammy said seeing the bleeding Danish
"Sammy! run and report this, damn it!" He said as he really wanted Sammy to live
Danish was right there's no way Sammy could save him from that thing, its way too huge so Sammy decided to make a break for it. He wished that danish would be alive when he came back with more people to take that thing down so that danish can live, he really wished...
"Danish ill be right back to save... y-you... Danish?"
His heart started beating lesser not because it was getting calmer because somehow Danish escaped it's grasp but, he actually kind of did well...
You could say that his soul escaped atleast but for his body didn't as Sammy saw his lifeless body swinging from the force of the branch which had impaled him. His blood was gushing out, he could see pieces of his heart flying across my face.
"GIVE ME THE BOOK!"
The monster had spoken, in that moment sammy was furious in his mind he thought
'This damn monster took my friend and now it wants the book!?'
In that moment sammy took the strange book and ran as fast as he can. He had decided that he would rather die then let the monster take this book he ran so fast and without noticing the green glow from the center of the gem on the book and not noticing his enviorment change to a completly new one as he closed his eyes in fear of death
The tree seeing this yelled
"NO GIVE IT TO ME"
Sammy ignored his first words but not his second
"I NEED TO GO HOME! SO DIE!"
As sammy turned back he saw a branch of a tree twisting and turning to attack him and it pierced his heart.
"NO ITS CLOSING!"
Screamed the tree.
Those were the last words he heard and in that moment sammy finally noticed his surrondings and thought
'what is this place I never been here before but I know this entire forest at the back of my hand after all i searched the entire forest to find my....'
Sammy had forggotten somthing precious to him and so he cried while his blood splattered on the book he fell behind on a pond which had been forgotton and when he looked up he saw a tree that was medium sized yet it felt taller then the worlds tallest tree and so his lasts thoughts were trying to remember somthing. Sammy lost his consiousness and the only person who understood him Danish, yet the monster wanted sammy, he wanted the book he wanted it so he could go back to his own world in fact to a different world, this is the story of how an endless world was finally ended.
