Chapter 1 - "The new master is... Odd."

A week had passed after the Moore Mansion's late master left the world, and now they're having a new master.

Rumors has it that the late master was terrible, and treated his staffs terribly. He's also rumored to have a very terrible temper and a terrible digestive system. If the word 'terrible' is a person, then that would be Victor Graves Moore himself.

May his terrible soul rest in peace.

"The new master has arrived! Quick! Stand in line!",

The staffs of the Moore Mansion formed a line on the doorway, greeting their new master. There's a rumor that the new master is a distant cousin of the late master, and was said to be quiet...odd...

The staffs bowed as the new master entered. He was dressed in black hat to shoes. He examined the room with his sharp sapphire eyes, dramatically, slowly walking in as his butler — Bosch followed him in, he seemed used to this dramatic entrance thing, so, he simply matched the energy his master was giving.

"Eheh-ehem!", he cleared his throat unnecessarily loud. The atmosphere was terrifyingly awkward. The staffs were internally praying, some sweats. They can't be blamed, with all the amount of terrible things they've went through under the terrible late master, and this new master who's rumored to be very odd — which somehow turns out to be true. And then, "Good!.... Evening, folks." The voice was clear, and youthful. Cathy peeked, curious about how the new master would look like, her eyes widened, cheeks instantly tinted.

"Adrian De' Mooreville, I will be the new master of this manor from today onwards."

He stated with a light tone. The staffs finally dared to take clearer glance at their new master, and oh! His androgynous beauty with that sharp sapphire eyes, he looked as if he could charm even Adam if he had lived in the Garden of Eden back in the good old days of the Holy Bible. The maids were charmed by his charismatic aura.

"I'm Peter, the late master's butler. It's a pleasure to have you with us today, mi'lord. Should I assist you to your new room, if you're fine with it?".

A tall, pale, lean, young servant introduced himself. Adrian took one look at the young man — Peter. It seemed he already took a liking to this fine young man who looked like he haven't slept in days.

"Peter, hmmm... So, Peter, you should certainly show me to my new room."

Adrian mumbled, walking past Peter who was the one who's supposed to be guiding him to his room. If not for his charming looks he'd already be in somewhere, hidden from the eyes of the society.

" So, Peter... How long had you been living here? ",

" Well, mi'lord—",

" I hate sweet things, especially cakes. How old are you?"

"I'm twenty tw—"

"You look very French to me, are you mixed race?"

"N—"

"I don't like the interior design of this mansion."

Peter was fed up with this odd behavior, but somehow he found it... Adorable. In the most annoying way possible so. Adrian suddenly stopped, Peter who had been following him while zoning out bumped on him, both fell on the floor with a loud thud. Peter cursed internally, rubbing his butt, "Mi'lord, are you hur—", Peter frozed at the sight in front of him. That mischievous grin was unexpected, now, Peter Dowson is seriously considering whether the new master is right in the head or not.

This nobleman, is too not noble-like. He's a pure odd new species of aristocrat all the staffs in the mansion had never met before.
