"Eat! Now! Before I use force to make you finish that meal!" Leo barked. His voice thundered through the cramped hospital room, shattering whatever meager courage Celine had tried to build.
Leo then shot a sharp look at the chef. Without a word, he gave a haughty tilt of his head, an absolute command for the table of gourmet food, still steaming with the rich aroma of truffles, to be placed directly in front of Celine.
"Miss, let me raise your bed for a moment," the chef said softly, his voice barely a whisper filled with hesitation.
Celine could only manage a glare as sharp as a dagger at Leo, but her frail body lacked the strength to resist any further. She allowed the mechanical bed to whir into motion, lifting her back until she sat in a deeply vulnerable position. The chef deftly slid the small table over, locking it into place directly over her lap.
