Delfina arrived at the Delamonte estate. The very same mansion she had grown up in. The same mansion that held beautiful memories from when she was a little girl until she became an adult and moved in with Filippo as they prepared for their wedding.
The driveway was filled with luxurious cars, which was expected since her parents made sure to invite as many influential and powerful men as possible.
Delfina stepped out of her car and walked toward the entrance. The guards did not ask for her invitation because they recognized her as their daughter. She scoffed inwardly.
As she stepped inside the mansion, she took in the decorations that adorned the place. Knowing her mother, she would have chosen only items that screamed wealth and status.
The Delamonte family was well known in Milan, influential and powerful. Every small company wanted to partner with them, while they constantly sought alliances with even bigger corporations. The greed was never ending.
